No, it's been a few days since our last email. I added funds to my paypal account just before the weekend and they take a number of business days to clear so there's nothing I can do until that happens.

I had difficulties with their ordering process, I missed one of their emails telling me to go ahead with the paypal transaction. After I finally sent my last payment, I had many other things to do so I've only just checked my email again after almost 24 hours.  They're saying paypal is reviewing the payment and I that I should contact paypal.

To be honest, after all the bs I've gone through with them, I'm not surprised.

i may not need the attachment...gues the mail you forwarded here is kind ok for me to understand...from this they got some prob with your payment...think you should contact paypal to resolve it...or have you done so?

i think find way of using other payment method...paypal suck most times...thats why many avoid them like some plague.

Re: Hi

Maybe I'm being oversensitive but, from the undertone of their message to me, they are mocking me.

I've contacted paypal to try to confirm if what I've been told is true.

Also, the attachment of the paypal screenshot they sent me is heavily doctored.

I'm not impressed and I think if you're still intent on doing business with them, try a small amount first and build up when you're sure you can trust them. This is what I tried to do by buying 2 bitcoin but they put me up to 5 and then 10. I'm an idiot for believing their excuses for why they couldn't pay me the initial 2 bitcoin.

wooow what i see here is your fault. shadetransact1@gmail.com is my email. any company sending an individual screenshot has to hide some things because its their account where many money comes so they can be secured....so why will they mock you? ...........
to see a company who will take paypal and may be try offer you such support always is hard...i have bought 2 coins from them when coins was 700 then when it was around 550 or 600 i got 7 coins...i am waiting for funds to hit my neteller account will deal with them...i told you say good things with good words to them...may be you talked to them in way thats not good...also if you got question ask them..those people are best in support...i never see any company or site support better than them....try to know if what they said about paypal is true....i am sure they cant lie...cool down...your thinking they are bad...while they are not...and this i sense disturbing you so much...which is not supposed ...to be so....

Still nothing from paypal but I only began contact with them on the weekend. It's Monday morning here so if I'm lucky I might get a response later today and then I will know more. MTB suggested they can refund my last payment and I can then try to send it again but I don't understand how they can do that if paypal is reviewing it. Doesn't that mean MTB have no control over that money?

hey-wao long time-was out of country...so how your biz going...how many coins you bought from MTB business ? know you have made so much profit in btc with mtb good rates.

Aside from coinbuyer's posts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=357816) in this thread, their account seems to be inactive now. It also seems that litecoinbtc (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=396848) is another inactive account controlled by this person / people so look out for anyone using such dodgy tactics and excuses. And such weird, shitty grammar. Where do these arseholes come from?

It was nice of moneypakto-aaand-it's-gone to post in this thread, I should encourage them to reply here rather than email me. It'd sure save a lot of copy&pasting.

You got me. But because you've taken so much of my money, you can
understand that I'm highly motivated to fuck with you.

Last time I searched for moneypaktobitcoin, my bitcointalk thread was
right up with the first listed pages and I'm still adding all the
communication from your coinbuyer alias.

You have taught me a lesson about how much more careful I need to be.
Now I know I must not trust so easily. I accept that my lesson should
come at a price but $3500+ is a lot of money for anyone to lose.

Pay me 5 bitcoin or refund half my paypal to me and I will remove my
bitcoin talk thread and never contact you again.

Hello Chris,

We have sounded this thousand times we have no account in any forum. We are not impersonating to be anyone. We are not interested in reading what you created. The cold storage we put your btc is costing much and if you do not pay we shall be forced to pull it out of storage and give the funds to charity since you have shared our email in public forum and we have been getting all sorts of damaging emails. Fine for doing this is 150 usd.

Now read this: WE SHALL NEVER EVER SEND 1 BTC OR HALF OR REFUND BACK ANY FUNDS UNTIL YOU PAY FINE OF 150 USD AND THEN THE 350 FOR THE COLD STORAGE. Paypal review which lasted for 10 days caused this.

YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND POST ANYTHING YOU WISH IN 5,000 FORUMS, OR EVEN IN NATIONAL NEWS PAPERS. We do not care for that. All we know is when your ready to pay the fine and the storage fee we shall attend to you if not stop wasting your time.

Thanks.

I've been ready for you to stand by your word for months, since you
first promised to pay me 2 bitcoin, then 5 and then 10. All you have
done in this time is tell lies, make excuses and steal from me. Every
step along the way, you have reneged on a done deal. You have done the
exact opposite of standing by your word. You pretend that you can't
simply pay me a fractional amount of bitcoin, that you can't refund my
paypal and that "cold storage" of bitcoin is costly. Do you even know
what bitcoin is?

Hello Chris,

We dont know what Bitcoin is but be assured that we do not remove
anything from anyone money. Rmember we have always been communicative
to you and the issue here is only 350 usd of cold storage which we
also accepted you should pay half of it but you declined.

We have never gone back on our word rather you will say circumstances
had a tole on us. Everyone will be suprised that you will get your btc
once the cold storage money is paid. We cant dent our image and name
because of your amount of money.

We have exchanged more than that amount for many clients and no
problem has occured and no one has said we have scammed him.

Your only being pushed by people telling you we are bad but we advice
you please dont listen to them.

Thanks.

Hello Chris,

We are Located at Illinois Usa. Our service is online and we are very well registered. Only an artony or court of Law will request for our details and we shall give it out. You have caused us damages with our email being public and we shall never give out any info to you. $350 storage fee will never kill you. Its only that, that will make your coins to be out. Thanks.

My first thought was, 'I wonder if I can just pose as an attorney the same way they posed as a 'Criminal Jurisdiction Dept Interpool of New Jersey Usa' staff member?' https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=856071.msg9678547#msg9678547

But I can do better than that.  I'd sooner give $350 to a lawyer to f*ck with this idiot than give him any further satisfaction.

You are right, segvec. I have been scammed, I had to admit that to myself weeks ago. About the only good that can come out of it is for me to draw this person out and expose them for what they are so that anyone that cares to look can learn from my mistake.

Who is it that is allegedly holding my bitcoin in "cold storage"?

Why do you expect me to believe that such a thing should not only cost money but also be expensive?

Are you aware that "cold storage" of bitcoin simply means spending to a wallet address whose private key was generated on an off-line computer?

What is the wallet address that you claim has my 10 bitcoin?

Do you realise this alleged practice of yours of holding bitcoin for customers in individual wallet balances is inconsistent with the screen shot you once sent me showing a blockchain wallet, supposedly belonging to you, with a balance of 322.35011784 bitcoin?

Do you also realise that is inconsistent with your claimed hatred of fractional balances?

Hello Chris,

We sell volumes of coins and our email and system is under attack almost everyday. We are paying for cold storage security and we don't want to have it in our reserve so we wont loose any clients funds. We went on break because of constant long days review of paypal for your funds. The screenshot we showed you is what we wanted to show on our selling wallet stock and we cannot show anything again to you because you show them in public forum. And if you keep posting in public forum our information then know that from now till the next 10yrs you will never ever have the coins. If you stop and pay the 350 usd in 1hr after your paypal has been sent you have the coins.

Normally we should hold paypal for some days but we are giving you 1hr. If we don't send the coins chargeback on the money. this is to show you we are determined to end this long business problems you caused. Thanks.

Note this, johnsonn, not a single question answered and you've reverted to threats again.

Why? Don't you know how to generate a new bitcoin wallet with an offline computer?

> The screenshot we showed you is [...] we cannot show anything again to you because you show them in public forum.

That's not true. But I don't see why I shouldn't share that image, it's just a doctored piece of crap that doesn't prove any of your claims. Why do you think exposing a wallet address is a security risk? If that were true, bitcoin would be useless.

> And if you keep posting in public forum our information then know that from now till the next 10yrs you will never [...

bla bla bla. How old are you? You come across like a child and not a very bright one either.

Why did you switch back to making threats instead of just answering the questions from my last email? I really want to know so you can start with: What is the business that you claim is holding my bitcoin in "cold storage"?

Actually, I also really want to know why you can't send my bitcoin to one of the trusted escrow guys on bitcointalk, why can't you show one tiny, little bit of good faith instead of continuing to behave like a lying, evasive piece of shit theif?

Just for once, just for the sheer novelty of it, show a tiny, little bit
of good faith, send me one bitcoin. That will prove to me that you're
not completely full of shit. Then I will pay your stupid fee. I can't be
any more reasonable than that. For all the money I've sent you, for all
the hassle you've put me through, for all your lame excuses, here's your
chance to prove that your intentions were actually good all along.

For that matter, Mr.Oh-so-legitimate-bitcoin-trading-professional, why
don't you just take your stupid fee out of what you owe me and send me
the rest? Wouldn't that be the easiest possible solution? Or is problem
solving such an unfamiliar concept to you?

Hello Chris,

We told we dont ulter ones money, coins. Your coins is deposited in one wallet and we do not and shall never touch it. the fee is cost we incured for protection against theft because we were under attack sometimes.

We dont and will not send 0.0001 BTC to prove anything. We are not a child here but we have answered this question here long ago. I have told you to read our mail conversation over and over again because anything you will ask has been answered there.

Lastly We wont hold your paypal funds for 72hrs or 48hrs We have told you 1hr. Send paypal after 1hr you dont get your BTC then Claim back the funds. The money you sent is small considering what we handle and we have showed you that before. So please kindly read our mails again and when you send the paypal you will be forced to eat back your words for all the bad names you have called us.

Thanks.

I just updated my OP with this:

This scam site has been cycling through a number of alternate blogspot addresses. Currently one of them is http://payypalexchange.blogspot.com/

They all look fairly similar though.

This is the dodgy screenshot "Garry Simon" sent me on the 18th of September 2014. It proves nothing but he's really sensitive about it for some reason.

This post is to remind people that I got ripped off after contacting a site listed in this thread started by coinbuyer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=775272.0

All of the links supplied by coinbuyer (aka scammer "Garry Simon") should be considered as scams:

_I'm_ saying you scammed me. Regardless of the amount of money but particularly when it's as much as you've stolen from me, you don't make bullshit excuses about "It's our policy" and "We didn't do anything wrong" and the most ridiculously lame one, "We don't send fractional amounts of bitcoin". Fuck you, "Garry" and your bullshit made up policy and your pretence of being anything other than a lying, piece of shit thief. I don't care who says it, policy is no justification for theft.

Yo! Dipshit, I just took a nice big dump in your scam promotion thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=775272.msg9986748#msg9986748 How do you like that?

Happy New Year, "Garry", you fucking thieving piece of shit.

Never scammed anyone. Happy New Yr to you Dear.

"Dear"? Anyone that's read any Nigerian scammer email before binning it will recognise their odd predilection for that term of reference. Pig's arse you're based in Illinois, "Garry", you low-life scamming worm.

Hey, coinbuyer, do you still want to pretend that you're not scammer "Garry Simon" and that you haven't just been promoting your own scams on this forum? Well then, I've got an offer for you. Put up 1 bitcoin with a trusted escrow provider on this forum as security, I will then pay what "Garry Smith" asks. If "Garry" finally pays the 10 bitcoin he owes me, you get your bitcoin back from the escrow and I will pay you 2 bitcoin.

Well, as long as we're pretending that you're not the scammer "Garry Simon" and that you're a satisfied customer of his and that you didn't promote a bunch of scam sites, why don't you want to put your money where your mouth is? If everything you've done here is legit and above board, I'm offering you a really easy 2 bitcoin. "Garry" has been begging for me to send him just one more payment and it was your thread that started this mess for me so how about you put up the 1 bitcoin security I'm asking for?
