The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

We need to get our hands on one so we can get some output data.   Any mention of price?   I didn't see any in that article.

It probably will have a dvi to hdmi converter like the 5970s. I like that it can be a single slot card! Also, it's a 7990 not 7970 :p

It's not a 7990, either. It's a 7970X2.

now where are we going to find power supplies with enough 8pin connectors!
If you put 4 of these in a mining rig, you need 12 8pin connectors!

4 cards 2 500W each? Good luck finding a 2000W PSU.

Even undervolted, you're still looking at a 1200W continuous draw...

IIRC 7970s draw about 150W while mining on air, and 100W on water, per GPU.

Exactly. This is 2 7970s, so it'll be close to 300W per card. He's dreaming of 4 of these, so that'd be 1200W of continuous draw, just for the GPUs.

Two PC Power & Cooling 950w looks to be the best value if two PSUs will work for you.   I use one and it works like a champ.
