A question about the pekao card: I'm having problems with the SMS balance check, I'm not getting any reply. Is it working for anyone else? (Outside Poland).
DeanC: I'm not in need of cards right now, I'll get back to you when I am.
Update: the SMS check started working, I had to buy something first, just loading the card seems to not have activated the balance check function. It takes almost an hour to get an answer though. |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I bought a few PLN cards. Received them 2 days ago. I have to make a test transfer now to see if they work. I think that they are fine. Thanks to DeanC for the good deal  |

From the ATM you can withdraw up to 500 pln or 150 eur per day.
And you can have up to 3000 pln or 2500 eur at one time.
And you can have up to 10000 pln or 2500 eur per yer per 1 card. @DeanC: Could you tell me what will happen, if i put 2500 EUR on the card acc (SEPA) and the next day i send again 1000 EUR to the card acc. This would be 3500 EUR in total. One more question: If i dont register the card, is there a way to know the available funds (balance)? |

2) Yes, you can - by sending the SMS to the number which is specified in the instructions for your card (inside the envelope -
Does it also work with German phone numbers? Does it work with both Pekao and WPK Bank? Thanks |

Is it clever to load a PLN Card with PLN and withdraw EUR?

I got my Pekao Card. I have registered it and was able to logon yesterday.
Today i wanted to check my balance but i don`t understand this password field...
My Password i`ve set has 11 chars. The password field has 16 digits and some are greyed out.
When i enter my password chars that are not greyed out, the logon page always says that char 12 can not be empty....
Any idea on that? Really don`t want to use that sms thing.
