hi all i cant get the wallet to sync. i created and added the money.conf file where its supposed to be. but nothing is happening. i restarted the wallet several times as well.

If you mean you mined as your wallet was syncing, any blocks your client found will have forked from the main chain, and should show up as orphans.

If you mean you have to resync from scratch with a wallet that has previously mined funds, then yes, the transactions will become valid once the sync passes the blocks you mined.

I mined before any syncing started, it got confirmed and it showed up on my balance but once I entered some nodes and it started syncing balance is 0 and coins is now unconfirmed. now synced with the network no record of the mined coins in transaction and coins are unconfirmed. I will just have to wait and see most likely.

That's your problem then, you need to mine when you're fully synced so that you're only adding to the end of the blockchain. If you try to insert a block earlier, it will be quickly orphaned as you sync and the consensus (the blockchain) overrides it.

Generally clients will reject mining attempts if they're still doing an initial sync, so not sure how you managed to find blocks.
