At 10% interest or less.

No trickery, no crazy math, just a simple loan.  Simple terms.  I pay you back as fast as I can.

I have a GPUMax account, so I get pretty good coin daily.  I make more then anyone else you loan to that does not have GPUMax.  I can pay you back faster.  Not a LOT faster, but faster.

Please check my sig, check my threads, research me, ask any question you want and let me know if you can help me.

I get damn good prices on power and am looking to expand big before the gold rush ends.

Please PM me.

Thanks.

 Huh

And why do you troll me around the forums?

I don't troll you around the forums. I watch you and many others who exhibit behavioral patterns similar to previous scammers.

For example, a brand new member jumping straight to VIP donator status for example should be looked into imo, as should people who are overly promotional of the safety of trading with them, as should people who insist on doing business without breaking anonymity.

Not that you fit the above description, but this thread caught my attention because it creates risk. It's not me, it's you.

Right.  And the 23 positive transactions (plus two in the works) I have made on this site, with zero negative, makes me a scammer.

Right... I see.

Why don't you ask PatrickHarnett if I am a scammer.  Or anyone in my sig.

Why don't you ask the 10+ people I have met in person, had at MY HOUSE from this forum if I am a scammer.

I have loans out too for people in lesser situations then me.  I have risk in the BTC community too.  Over 3000 dollars.

In any event, you don't like me for some reason, and that is fine.  I could care less who you are, who you think you are blah blah blah.  But I do not like people who disrespect me for no reason.  I have never had ANY interaction with you ... but you come on my threads and disrespect me, harass me.  For no reason.

If you don't like me, fine.  But keep your mouth shut, especially when I have never spoke to you in my life.  I don't know how you were raised, but the way you are acting is not acceptable where I am from.

You will be my first use of the ignore feature.

Good day to you.

P.S.  -- my time on the site should not factor who I am.  My actions should.  I bet I am a cooler person IRL then you and would get along with WAY more people on this forum then you would.  And I will get farther then you in the BTC industry.  You can trust that.

Okay. I will. Thanks for providing useful information.

Why don't you ask the 10+ people I have met in person, had at MY HOUSE from this forum if I am a scammer.
How would having people in your house qualify you as not being a scammer? Shakaru has met many forum members too, so has Bruce Wagner. Even CoinExchanger has met Charlie Shrem of BitInstant. I don't think that matters.

I have loans out too for people in lesser situations then me.  I have risk in the BTC community too.  Over 3000 dollars.
Good to know. My advice would be to lead with this next time to avoid confusion.

In any event, you don't like me for some reason, and that is fine.
Drama queen.

I could care less who you are, who you think you are blah blah blah.  But I do not like people who disrespect me for no reason
It seems you don't like people asking questions about you. This is another red flag and telltale sign of a scammer. Just saying.

I have never had ANY interaction with you ... but you come on my threads and disrespect me, harass me.  For no reason.

I think anyone who reads your loud, obnoxious, uneducated and threatening posts would have plenty of reason to be bothered by you, but that's not why I'm posting in this thread. I'm posting here because I'm unaware of your legitimacy and I'm tired of seeing people burned trusting newbies with loans. Potentially incorrect as they may be, my concerns are valid and I am a fan of due diligence. I suggest you get used to people on the internet asking questions when you're asking for money.

If you don't like me, fine.  But keep your mouth shut,
Or what? You'll beat me up in a cage over the internet? Please grow up.

P.S.  -- my time on the site should not factor who I am.  My actions should.  I bet I am a cooler person IRL then you and would get along with WAY more people on this forum then you would.  And I will get farther then you in the BTC industry.  You can trust that.

For posterity.

LOL NOW I get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

OMG so funny!!!!!!  I had no idea that idiot was behind Kronos.  Makes sense now.

Funny how one of the biggest scammers (or should I say scimmers) in bitcoin is trying to peg ME a scammer.  Some small time miner just trying to expand.

Pathetic.

I don't think you could consider Kronos "my" project. I was brought on at the last minute to handle some management aspects, but that was actually after his post in that particular thread basically ignorantly bashing Bitcoin services "because bitcoin".

The reason he raised red flags consistent with being a scammer is because of his childish and abusive language in a previous thread (to which he has since deleted). His response to me questioning him was "Before you say things you should think about the person on the other end and how long you'd last in a cage fight with them" or something extremely immature to that extent. From that moment I've been waiting for the "David_Benz scammed me" thread. There is nothing much to comment on at the moment, just that I notice patterns and this thread matched it.

What David_Benz should understand (since he's going to be a professional bitcoiner!11) is that anyone asking for a large loan is going to attract attention and shouldn't be so defensive when questioned. In fact, scammers are the only ones who get irate about questions being asked.

Nice Wink

I have done successful business with David_Benz and at no point have I had any reason to think he was a scammer.
I am also currently looking to do MORE business with him....if that helps.

Matthew, as you would suggest to me (or have suggested to me in the past), perhaps you are jumping the gun a bit here ?

Anyway, D_B, good luck in finding your loan. I am sure you shouldn't have any problems considering your track record.

Thanks brother!  I have had great success already form this thread and members of the forum.

Matthew doesn't like me because I blast his Kronos project.  Because Bitcoinica and Kronos are scammers Smiley

They are the FED of the BTC world.  The FED is killing the US economy while they get rich and Bitcoinica\Kronos group is\was doing the same thing.  Getting rich and murdering our beloved BTC value.

True, and I bet if we met in the real world, things would be fine.  I just don't take a liking to being disrespected Smiley  I believe everyone should respect each other until one gives reason not to.

I don't believe me NOT liking the product he is working on, is a reason to disrespect me.  Maybe not like me and not want to do business with me, but not disrespect me.

I may not like the shirt and shoes you are wearing, but that does not mean I am going to disrespect you.

My reason for asking questions about your intent (which are valid) is that you met a very loose profile. My inquiry alone should not be misconstrued as "disrespect" and should have simple been met with some valid proof. This is not too much to ask and is quite common on these forums overrun with scammers.

I don't believe me NOT liking the product he is working on, is a reason to disrespect me.  Maybe not like me and not want to do business with me, but not disrespect me.
This fairytale that I have an issue with you because you are not a fan of Kronos is nothing more than that-- a fairytale. I do not appreciate the ignorance in some of your posts, nor the seemingly amatuerish way you try desperately to connect this forum to the 'real world' with physical threats of violence and constant reminders to everyone that "If this was offline...". It reminds me of goons on IRC whom when I was a kid would say "Give me your address because I'm gonna kill you for saying those hurtful words to me!". Let it go on the record though that I don't understand why Kronos, Bitcoinica, or DeepBit are "bad" for Bitcoin and I think people who say otherwise with no proof, all in caps, are ignorant. Nothing personal.

I may not like the shirt and shoes you are wearing, but that does not mean I am going to disrespect you.

You are in desperate need of some thicker skin. I'm not your enemy.

That said, after looking into things deeper (as you've forced me to by not answering questions), I've come to the conclusion you're not a scammer, just slightly unorthodox in your manner of speech and activities on the forum. Hey, me too!

Peace

slightly unorthodox

Thought I should sub in here at some point.  Yes, I find Mr Benz slightly unorthodox at times, but he is polite and has been paying back his loan diligently.  I have extended some coins to him and while he is still relatively new (a few weeks) I advised him I didn't want to be exposed to an unreasonable level and he accepts that.  I anticipate that we will continue to do business, and as someone interested in his growth plans it makes sense for me to watch what's going on.

His plans are to use the resources available to him to build a reasonably sized mining farm and he shouldn't be picked on because he is enthusiastic - I can think of several other people (respected/less respected members of the forum and straight out scammers) who have that trait.

Good point.  I am a bit emotional at times lol this Matthew guy kinda got under my skin.

Thanks for pointing that out.  I have edited my post.

And FWIW ... I wasn't using it to make anyone feel bad.  I said that because a lot of times, people on forums forget that there is a human being on the other side of the monitor.  You can't just assume someone is a scammer and try to trash them, disrespect them and pick on them.  You never know who is on the other side.

Also, people around here need to stop saying things on threads that they WOULD NOT say in person, face to face.  Where I am from, when you call someone SON, that is a sign of you disrespecting them.  You call me SON to my face for no reason, in a disrespectful fashion, we are going to have a problem.  And I am willing to be there are other people in this community who would agree.

This is different from a typical online forum.  Many of us here have a LOT at stake and know each other face to face.  We do some serious business on this forum.  This isn't a WoW forum where nerds talk shit to each other all the time.  This is real life.

Anyhow,

Good point.  I am a bit emotional at times lol this Matthew guy kinda got under my skin.

Regardless of anything else, it's actually not my intention to get under your skin. That was an after-thought based on your response. Please develop thicker skin for these forums for the sake of everyone including yourself.

That said, my apologies for making you feel uncomfortable. I have seen far too many obvious scammers to ignore someone just because I 'think' they might be innocent.

P.S. Getting under people's skin is my specialty if you hadn't noticed. Case in point:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BanADUKgcSA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGyh9nDG1sQ
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR5e4fs96q4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f-J8uGbybUk
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBBeHlqQYHM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTFGpY07VA4

Don't watching those just make you want to punch me in the face? Yes? I win then because you just got emotional about a video, which means more hits for the video, which means more profits for me. That is the nature of the game. Recognize it quickly and your skin will grow thicker naturally.  Wink

I vouch for.  We did some deal in person this weekend.  He is the real deal, treated me more than fair and has a nice operation.

Get your four hours, 5 posts in.. useless posts even.  Make your real post, then delete the original 4.  Bam! 1 post and not in n00bie jail.  C'mon, you really think 5 posts prevents spam?

If you're saying this you haven't seen the amount of spam/bots we have to deal with. And you don't see it cause it's all contained in the newbie forum and local forums.

This. I've just removed over ten users for spamming in the Chinese Local subsection, and I remove a couple of spammers daily in the Newbie forum.

Im just going to add in that David_Benz is a nice guy and I've done a few deals with him dating as far back as last May 2011.

Did a few loans, a few trades, and as of recent months a few sales for btc.

Met in person on multiple occasions and is the type of person i'd drink some beers n share some laughs with, as we did on those several occasions.

I would without a doubt do business with this guy anytime.

Just curious, has he been repaying his loans? He went crazy buying things for a few weeks and then dropped off the map.

Last I head he got locked up for domestic abuse, and possible drug violations or something. Got some email about it atleast, and his girlfriend was trying to sell me some of his stuff to bail him out. Haven't heard much else since though.

Well, his profile certainly looks interesting now. Not sure when it was changed to include all the hacking references.

I had suspicion and didn't like this guy the first time I seen his posts, another thing that rotted me, I had got three loans, and it was very difficult to find two 5850's because the bastard kept buying them up, every card known to man here at bitcointalk.org, and I swear, he was buying them up left and right non stop, ugh that pissed me off. I had that feeling, something was just not right. If admins, mods and or staff want to put something here, post it up. That's all I've got to say in this post.

The information I have is a bit different to what has been posted here - some aligns, other bits do not.  Some of the issues around the account have been reported to the admins, but the more recent events are not bitcoin related.

I tried looking for the information myself, as I have met this guy IRL.

The thing about these sites is you can pay to have your information taken off of them, atleast in Oregon you can.

Im still really baffled by all of this since i've met this guy in person and did a few deals on more than one occassion. All of which were really good transactions. Im sure he will show up with a good explanation for all this.

Strange.  It looks like his account did possibly get hacked.  If so why has he not been back to reclaim the account?

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

I have traded with him in the past for PP, and his PP account does not match his current forum name. When I traded, he used a different forum nick.

Who is his largest loan holder? I assume he got the money for all of his purchases from someone on this forum.

I loaned him 200 btc, he paid back 65 btc.

Haven't seen him since that whole issue in the hardware section. Also, the email from his "Girlfriend" trying sell me some equipment for his "Bail money" since he got locked up for domestic violence & drugs...

If anyone has any information of his whereabouts or anything else that may help me locate him, that would be great.

We met several times, but all where at my location. He did tell me his name was David Benson though, but I have read some other names associated with him, so who knows really.

I would prefer this not to head into the typical bitcointalk.org hysterical decent into chaos.  If you have a loan out to Mr Benz, please contact me via pm.

I know several things that I choose not to publicise on the forum as it is not helpful.
