I look that chart used 1 hour time frame so that mean you doing day trading, in my opinion day trading is very difficult than long term trading because the price of Bitcoin anytime can rally and going up fast. So i think long term trading is more easy and more profitable, buy some coin that has big potential and strong in fundamental and then hold it in a few month. This easy strategy will promising huge profit and less time to do it than day trading. [/quote]
This is a nice strategy and I suggest for the others to use this as well. In my case, I rely on my observations and comparison to the movement of any coin price. I dont just invest on one thing, I make sure to allocate my money to potential investments.

1. Buy dips/crashes by watching the volume 2. Buy breakouts 3. Buy the last part of a big wall
Sell when it looks like it's turning around (you have to learn). Stop out somewhere close to the buy price.

The strategy that will work best for trading cryptocurrencies is “Buy Low, Sell High”. Buy coins if it is on its low price and sell it once it got high. Another point to remember is do not trade what you can’t afford to lose. Don’t sell properties or invest all your money for this. The prices of these coins are very volatile and you wouldn’t know what waits ahead. You may earn a significant amount of fortune in this platform but you could also lose it in just few moments. Knowledge is always the key. You must do your homework first before getting into trading. Also, don’t let your greed and emotions bite you. This is a factor that makes most traders lose their money.

After suffering quite some losses while trying to daytrade without the neccessary knowledge about it I started to use the buy and hold strategy. I set entry and exit points for myself and try to stick with them. Its not always easy as crypto markets are heavily volatile and therefore Im still tempted to sell often before I meet the exit points I set for myself. But its all about controlling emotions and staying patient. For me the buy and hold strategy has payed off way better than trying to trade often for small profits. I still do this, but only with a small fraction of my portfolio.

That's a nice piece of advice and thanks a lot for that. I don't see any potential in altcoin and it can never reach the level where bitcoin has reached and the best strategy for trading is buy more bitcoin when the price is less
I know that bitcoin is the most profitable and always will be profitable. But put all eggs in one basket is not good strategy i think. There is still other good and strong altcoin like etherium. You can invest in etherium to get profit.

if you do trade with scalping strategy it required technical analysis and it was not an easy way to make money unless of course if you have done it long enough and experienced then there is nothing to worry about. look at the candle stick really complicated but once you found the pattern , your way to make money are opened so wide.

You can invest in etherium to get profit. Actually not only Ethereum, the market is getting bigger and that means that altcoins market are also growing along with bitcoin. If you look at the trend, you will see that they are also increase their value and that is a good news for us investors because we can ensure profit if the trend will continue, the best thing to do now is accumulate and hold longer to benefit on the success of the entire crypto market.

Exactly now we have many good altcoins in the market, and many big investors are showing interest to invest in altcoins. I agree that after BTC the ETH will take next place, but now ETH has also reached a high price. But if you buy and hold this coin maybe in future it will reach BTC price. We missed holding BTC, but now we don't repeat the same mistake. A good coin like ETH holding a long time can give you 100% profit in future.

My strategy on trading is simple, always buy when the price go down and sell when the price go up, i'm talking about bitcoin because everytime the bitcoin price go down, it will go up again on the next 2-3 days or next week. I always use this strategy and the result is great.

If trading altcoins are concerned that the relatively memorized it. Often if they are short trade small profits at a time. But this is what I do every time I pretty much my income in a day. This is my strategy, the short trade because it is the quick way for me to earn.

The best trading strategy i think is to buy at low prices and resell at high prices for earn profit, it can be short or long term, depending on market price developments, no problem having to hold the coins in the long term if the coin price down as long as it still gain some profit

First i search coin in exchanger whose price is going down and then i check coinmarketcap about that coins, if i find that coin has a good web, supply and dev. Then i put advance order of mine price, whenever price reaches there, my transaction will completes automatically. give it some time to have noticeable profit ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Of course, there is the basic advice: buy low, sell high. But in crypto, the real secret is to identify the patterns that precede a crash or a boom

The best strategy I think is to practice patience don't get panic when the price is going down. Buy low then hold and wait for a while. I know people who regret not holding the coins/tokens for a long time.
