Hi there,

Just to clarify I am not in this for profit. I am doing this for fun/self project/want to experience mining.

With that being said, I bought a 333MH/s usb miner, set it up and after a day had 0.00000160 in my ghash.io account.

Finding this awesome that i had experienced mining in its most basic form I though why not just buy some cloud and see what happens  Cheesy...huge mistake  Embarrassed

I now have negative in my account..I bought 15GH/s. I know they take maintenance fee but I had no idea i would lose bitcoins instantly just from using their service :S

I am currently at -0.00000412 and assuming its just going to get lower.

Iv contacted cex.io about this and they have just repeat said basically...sorry risks involved..

Exact words

"We apologise that you are experiencing concern over your mining operations, and ask that you read our Risk Warning.

Yes I know risks are involved..but just straight out going negative within 30 minutes of using a service? How can that be legit?

Any others with this issue?
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

You can always resell of cex.io if the maintenance costs are higher than the revenue; in average it shouldn't be

How long have you bought the GHS from Cex.io? Let it run for 24 hours or more, and the maintenance fee should be covered by profit.

Sometimes our BTC might be minus, but have you checked the other ballance such NMC or LTC or Doge?

U might like to try cloudmining.website. The yield is much better than what u have mentioned here. Here u'd get an independent discussion regarding the same => https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=844310.0

He bought SHA GH. Why would he have a LTC or Doge balance?

Really appreciate the advice guys thanks for helping a noob Tongue

Its now been 24 hours, balance is -0.00002234. As I expected its slowly getting more and more negative....absolute madness..

Cannot recommend Ghash's cloud service at all.

Will be selling my GH/s and looking into other cloud mining.

Does anyone know what the GH/s would need to be in order to just break even on the ghash cloud?  I would have though 15GH(what im using) is more than enough to yield a very minimal but positive balance...clearly not.  Huh

EDIT
Balance: -0.00003648

This is ridiculous lol...

It wasn't when I searched, I used the search function of the forum and google Smiley

Cloudminr is new and a bit unknown but has cheaper GHS (0.0013/GHS or 0.0011 if you buy 2THS or more) and no maintenance cost
