That's the trouble with these centralized marketplaces and why we desperately need decentralized ones. Just wait for OpenBazaar or something similar to go live and this should solve problems of hacks and fees etc.

How was that spam? You should read his post again because it seemed to answer your question. Open Bazaar is an alternative marketplace which is what you wanted. There are currently no other viable markets currently so Open Bazaar will likely be the best one to use when it is operational.
