POW going to end way sooner than expected as POS started already and blocks counting, so moneysupply going to be much less than 69m.
i don't think the shortened POW will reduce moneysupply, it just means POW is shorter, isn't it? because moneysupply is determined by the number of blocks (correct me if i'm wrong) so moneysupply is equated by the number of blocks found up until end of POW, which will not change, it will just occur quicker due to concurrent POS being included in that block number. You are wrong, each PoW block is worth 2000 coins. Each PoS block is worth much less. So every PoS block found decreases the total amount by almost 2000 coins (exact number depends on how much the PoS block payed) |
