wow! I'm surprised by how brutal the lashback at this article was. Almost like a bunch of people were waiting to jump at it from the bushes.

Astonishingly stupid article. Governments that surrender their sovereign currency also give up their ability to conduct monetary policy.

Yeah, they don't seem to understand the point of free markets, looks like there are people out there who actively want their countries to be oppressed, what a load of hateful morons.

Anyone can issue a currency such as bitcoin and I do mean anyone. The trick is to get someone to accept it.  

My favourite one, there are still people out there who don't realise you can end up in jail for making a currency LOL.
