What is MaxCoin Cryptobullion?

The MaxCoin Silver Cryptobullion round is a privately minted 1oz 999 fine silver coin, which features a tamper evident security hologram attached to one side of the coin. This hologram protects a MaxCoin private key, which can be considered the "password" for an address on the blockchain that contains 100 coins.

The public address associated with the hidden private key is printed on the front of the hologram, and this can be used to independently verify the balance using any reliable blockchain viewer.

To redeem the cryptocurrency, the hologram can be removed by peeling it off the face of the coin to reveal the private key underneath. Removing the security hologram destroys it in the process so that it cannot be re-applied.

Once revealed, the private key can then be loaded directly into your wallet and spent digitally over the internet.

I'll take one of these.  Prefer the lowest number available, if these have serial numbers.  Kindly send me a PM with payment info.

A few questions:

1. How many are being made?
2. When will these be physically in stock?  I'm assuming some time in 2015.
3. Are these numbered on the coin or some certificate?
4. Is this a custom designed or generic hologram?
5. Can you tell us a little about yourself for those of us who dont know you or your company?

Thanks

I would be happy to answer your questions.

1. There will be only 1000 coins in circulation.
2. These are due to be in stock jan 2015
3. The coins are not numbered but come with certification.
4. The hologram is generic, we were opting for custom but could not meet the funding for it.
5. I am an irish based cryptocurrency enthusiast. i have also recently held a crowdfund for startcoin crypto bullion which will also be available in jan of 2015. i will upload some pictures shortly of my startcoin project.

Will send you a PM right away.

Thanks for the information.  Since these arent numbered, and the mintage is high enough, I'm going to wait until these are in stock or closer to that time.  I'll get one then.

Best of luck with your project.

What is maxcoin...some alt?

An alt that Max Kaiser and some traders tried pumping but failed quite badly. As soon as it did he pretended he had nothing to do with it.
Nice coin but unfortunately I don't like the currency it represents.
Good luck with sales Smiley

Max is still openly supporting the coin. I haven't been following this thoroughly but you can't say that he pretends he has nothing to do with it while he publicly posts about donating to create the "maxcoin Foundation".

Irish?

Murphy, is that you?  lol

Great job on these coins.  Now if only Max Keiser [and Karl Gray] would start executing on the MaxCoin business plan, that would be world changing.

Cheers!

Check on twitter to see if it's one of the main max guys.  I'm pretty sure it is but it's always best to double check.

Yea but not every newb creates an account JUST to put up a sell post.  Your argument is invalid because well over %90 of the accounts created in like circumstances to yours ARE in fact, scams.

I only have a signature because I'm allowed.

Until this has been verified by the Maxcoin foundation I would suggest everyone to be careful as this may be a scam. Will update once Mmurfy has confirmed this is his account as Mmurfy is taking the lead on the cryptobullion project.
