I like CCN. They have a lot of connection and should do well in the coming years. When I tried to run that #420jf DAO store in 2015 they didn't want to be associated with it. If I had raised enough money to open the store, I've a feeling they would have been into it and want to promote CCN at the store.

I agree.  There's no rush to deliver a new platform.  But establishing  that the holders of CANN POT STV DOPE BLZ THC Bongr CCN can/will get X% of 'The Epic 420 Network' and discovery of a distribution/redemption/snapshot process can be done now and in the meantime.

I agree. It is best to see what the current 2.0 and 3.0 open source projects become and what level of support community they build.

Something with Anon, something with smart contracts, something with content can all be blended to make 'The Epic 420 Network'.

No, CryptoNote not "sucks pretty bad"  right now. Some technology options are further advanced than Bitcoin like adaptive limits, very high transactions capacity, ASIC resistant proof of work ...
Do you really need smart contract + a content delivery network to build anything useful for the Cannabis Industry? I think it should be a primary store of value, secured, privacy protected, decentralized. Smart contracts is a cool stuff but not so good for storing value, you know what I mean, also too "expensive".

Honestly, this sounds pretty good. I hate new weed coins but CryptoNight is anonymous... so that's actually really good.

Hello Everyone,

We wanted to give everyone a quick update of what we've been working on. As promised, we will make our best efforts to keep the community aware of what we are doing and working on.  We believe being the most transparent possible will yield the best possible outcome.

The Beta version launch of our PotWallet App was a great success. We thank all beta testers for their valuable feedback.  We are looking into submitting the Apps to the corresponding stores (Apple, Google, Microsoft) in early 2017.

Our team has grown to 4 full time developers as we continue to build the systems necessary to make Potcoin and PotWallet scale to high volume transactions.  We will be announcing our 100% refactored version of PotWallet in the beginning of 2017 as well.  This version will include a revamped interface, new features, drastically improved scalability and security.  We are also building extensive WEB plugins and extensions to make Potcoin easily acceptable on all platforms (magento, wordpress, shopify, etc...)

As legalization is fast approaching in Canada, we are striving to make sure all our systems are GO to accommodate the flow of new Potcoin users and transactions.  We are currently in negotiation with many MMJ Licensed Producers in Canada in order to accept Potcoin and offer it as a reward system to their patients.  They are very excited about Potcoin and see the many benefits of a system like that for patients, producers, doctors and everyone involved in the industry.

2017 is going to be a big year for Potcoin and PotWallet. Many exciting news and developments to come.
