There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. EWallets are like banks -- a central organization has complete control over your money. You shouldn't put much money in EWallets.

I'm afraid you won't receive a lot of response to this.

Reason: paypal payments can be charged back (or disputed, or whatever bullshit terms paypal uses for their fraudulent crap). Bitcoin payments cannot. Hence there's no way for a bitcoin-seller to make sure he's not getting ripped off.

Just get your cash out of paypal ASAP (something I would recommend anyway), and buy bitcoins through one of the many Bitcoin exchanges.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

He tried this on IRC, too. Wasn't very effective.
