I am not aware of a Paypal option.

btc2ripple offers an easy method of opening a wallet with Bitcoin.

You can then exchange Bitcoin on the distributed exchange for XRP.

xrptalk.org :: setup a wallet + trade all currencies :: gateway reviews @ coinist.co :: deposit to buy xrp @ snapswap [now supporting PayPal withdrawls + instant ACH transfer deposits]
CrossCoin Ventures startup accelerator - offering XRP funding up to $50,000 USD equivalent

The link below provides instructions on how to fund a VirWoX account with pay pal and then buy bitcoins. You can use the bitcoins to buy ripples.

First you have to buy Linden Dollars for real-world currency i.e. USD and EURO, and then buy BTC for your Linden Dollars.

Paypal = reversible payments, Ripple offers only irreversible payments.

The fastest way would probably be to buy XRP using BTC, it is very unlikely that someone will accept your PayPal payment in exchange for any cryptocurrency, virwox are a rare exception in that regard...

https://www.coinlend.org <-- automated lending at various exchanges.
https://www.bitfinex.com <-- Trade BTC for other currencies and vice versa.

Wrong time to buy Ripples. Wait for all those who got caught up and bought high to sell and lower the price.

As for the question, I saw it listed on Cryptsy so thats one major exchange.

Your probably right it might not be the time to buy.

I guess I will buy bitcoin and switch, seems like that will be my best option.
