I am really looking forward to this platform. Compared to existing messaging apps, i would say this has the greatest potential. Just a shame that it did not meet the required BTC as per agreement. Still though, i am sure if people are smart enough they will find  away to back the project and make sure it reaches its peak.

This really does make the other messaging apps look like a toy in comparison. I mean not only is it fully secured with existing platforms but also provides a way of making cryptos become a day to day usable tool.

Keep up the great work mate, you have honored your word and the crow-sale process.

How is it a fail? Not all projects get the necessary funding, that doesn't mean it's a fail.

As far as I'm concerned the only way this is a fail is if they fail to return the contributions. With that said, NOTE, I just received my contribution back (including the miner fee that was paid for my transaction). So blocktrust, thus far is trustworthy to me, as well as the entire SendChat team.

Guess we can wait a few more days to make sure 100% everyone gets their contribution back, but I don't think anyone is going to get shammed.

I'm still waiting for my contribution back.  Am disappointed this failed because to be honest 350BTC right now is not a lot of money so it should have been a dead cert to meet the funding amount.

I got my BTC back, so for me BlockTrust really honored their name.
For SendChat, I'm a bit sad to see such a promising project having a setback, because of a failed attempt to get a startup capital by fundraising.
I hope there is a plan B though.

Why not just give out the coins as is and use the btc to develop. its still alot of btc

unfortunately the minimum was 350 BTC which was agreed upon both teams, can't retrace what was agreed upon, although the poll was informative for the team.

We want to see if people like the project.

Well if you are serious enough about the project and coin why not release it and get started then having to rase funds and maker a smaller version of it and add features in when targets have been met. That way you can get your project started up and running listed on exchanges and grow it that way.

Got my refund from Blocktrust. Never had an escrow actually need to be used before, ever. Although times are harsh and people will use whatever FUD they can, a shame, as the devs are ones that make deadlines and it likely would have done well.
