Even the block chain is a centralized in that all the information is in a single ledger; and because all the information is in one place, I can know everything that has happened and is happening.
IMO having a single blockchain (working with a single proof mechanism) is a "single point of failure" so that is why AT has been designed to be bolted on to different blockchains. Also I will presenting a new type of "proof" which I have been very busily working on (am getting some math analysis done before I publish anything) which will be part of a platform for creating blockchains and blockchain applications. |

One of the topics discussed before OS was if Qora utilizes transparent forging, that is a forger of the "next block" is known for all online network members beforehand. Kushti mentions some issues needing to be resolved (in NXT) before TF could take place. If TF is possible and not yet implemented in qora, could the forging algo be adjusted and would the community want to do this?
I should ask: what is really the benefit of TF?
Spent a little bit of my time on Qora sources during last weekend and even made Scala version of QORA's BlockGenerator class: https://gist.github.com/kushti/605dfe4f17d0dd75cedf (220 lines of code instead of original 400), also submitted the bug on the way: https://github.com/Qora/Qora/issues/10 . If I recall from what I read in old Nxt discussions, TF was a necessary step for certain features to be accomplishable, like instant transactions.

Request : Qora (dev), could you reach out to Poloniex exchange about their Qora wallet issues please?
This has been going on since 12/3 for me personally and they (Poloniex) finally decided to pass the buck and say it was the Qora dev that is holding them up from giving us our Qora withdrawals.
During this time, they did however have time to update their website ... which shows Poloniex's priorities (Hint : It's not us).
Update 12/26 : Not sure if you did anything or not (thanks if you did!), but they finally fixed their wallet and I received my coins today.
