Linux Bitcoin Copy to RAM?

I've been looking around at some of the dedicated software like BAMT (which I am using with CGminer) and linuxcoin. The problem with these is they require a USB drive per rig.
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a bitcoin distribution that, after setup and boot, would copy to RAM so you could remove your flash drive and use it in another machine?

What happens on unexpected reboot or power loss? You may wish to consider PXE booting.

Wouldnt be hard to configure yourself, on boot make a couple mfs, then cp and chroot.

As above, a PXE boot might be a better solution, then NFS mount all the things.

Flash drives are very cheap, and usually mining rigs should be able to restart quickly. I doubt anyone has released something like this for bitcoin mining. If you really want to, you could do it yourself using tmpfs and switch_root / pivot_root. I tried it and it was pretty easy to hack together. There might also be some live CDs with the feature. If you find one, you can modify the contents to include a bitcoin miner.

Knoppix was one of the original 'toram' linux distros, there is also Slitaz, Puppy, DSL.
