Hi, I want to try out setting up a faucet to help with fundraising. I just want to check, if I deposit funds in the deposit account, can I get them back again if things don't work out?

Sorry if it's an obvious answer,

Andy

Yes you can.
Just use this with the address you want to make the withdraw to https://paytoshi.org/private/transfer

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Hello.
Today i have problem with my faucet. admin password doesn't work. I've already deleted SQL entry and created a new password but it keeps not accepting the password.

what can cause this problem? Huh
Thanks.

Hello coolindark,

what do you mean with today? Did you worked till now? If yes, what changed in your environment?

In any case, executing the DELETE query is the proper way to reset your password.

Thank you,
Cheers

Yup, it was working till yesterday and actually nothing changed in my environment. I've also reupload everything but still having same issue...
Now i'm chaging the faucet over MYSQL but it's not practical Smiley
What can cause to site cannot decrypt passwords right?

Hello coolindark,

if the decryption suddenly stopped working, there is no other explanation that something changed in your environment.
Did you try to contact your hosting?

Thank you,
Cheers

( SAME AS ABOVE)

I cant seem to login to my faucet using the password I had saved.

I can run the query and delete the password but how do i reset it?

The page just keeps asking me for a password.

So my question is.

After you delete the password from the database using the query as directed, how do you then ad or get a new one?

Hello,

after a password reset you just visit your faucet admin area and a new password will be recreated for you, like the first time.

If you have troubles while doing it, it is likely that the faucet has other configuration problems.

Thank you,
Cheers

Hi, this site http://www.ezbits.xyz/ doesn't seem to be making the payments it claims to be. I go through the process, and when I look at my paytoshi account, nothing has gone in. Tried once, waited 30 mins and tried again, still nothing. Any ideas?
Cheers

I tried to claim from this and I got "You can get a reward again in 8 secs." even though I have never used it before.
But yes, some faucets are scamming for ad views and they won't pay you so if you see faucet saying they sent payment to you but they really didn't, just stop using that faucet.

Hello,

our list is automatically updated with the faucets making at least one microtransaction in the last few hours. So you can be sure that if you see a faucet in our list, it paid in the recent past.

Our sorting algorithm takes into account sums exchanged and number of unique users. For a faucet owner is it incredibily more profitable to be in the upper part of our list. Want to reward the best faucets in your opinion? Skip the ones you don't like.
We rarely ban faucets, because usually the Paytoshi community is good enough to weed them out, that is to relegate them to the lower, less profitable, part.

Hi all!

Today we announce the new version of the faucet script: same security, easier setup.

As we totally rewrote the script and changed the underlying framework (from Slim to Silex), we took our time to introduce a setup wizard to assist you with the most common configuration problems.
In addition, the script is now fully tested to increase security and promote future improvements. The code is as always open-source.

We will support both old and new scripts during a transition period, then we will advise everyone to upgrade to the new version.

Download

More info at the faucet page.

Let us know what do you think!  Cool

Hi,

Since I have reached a dead end with the implemention of my own faucet, i would ask you for some help:

My hosting provider blocks "external connections" via PHP, therefore I had some problems with "SolveMedia" and your payment-API. I've talked to my provider and he updated his firewall rules and everything seemed to work ... I only pinged paytoshi.org and forwarded the obtained IP address, but now i found out, that your IP Address has changed (*14.8 to *15.Cool. Before I ask my provider I wanted to ask you for some more detailed information. Is it enough to "whitelist" both IPs or is there a third one ?  Roll Eyes
Or is there a way to bind my faucet to the IP that's already whitelisted (srv1.paytoshi.org?) ? I've tried to change the scripts, but I'm not allowed to access your service with the IP directly. I really want to get my faucet to work ... but I don't have a clue how to work-around this with these POST-Requests. Is there a way to push satoshis via GET-Requests ?  Wink

Thank you in advance!

BR/zacharias
and best wishes from austria!

Hello,

we just released version 2.0.1 of the faucet script that should improve mod_rewrite detection.

We advise all those that had issues with version 2.0.0 to try this new version.

Thanks for the feedback,
Cheers
