I think this is where Bitcoin shines. It's nearly feeless when it comes to huge transactions, but for small ones, you do pay high TX fees.

A multi-millionaire paid only 4 cents to transact $80 million when transactions cost of $30 each in mining costs, and you all cheer this like blind fools

the address 1JEC8vYP9cEDSu6N6DXkkYd3RaeWAdsCqN, that provides most of the input to this tx, has itself recieved many inputs marked as "bitstamp audit" on blockchain.info
So this is most likely bitstamp moving its funds around
or their cold storage being hacked
It's still quite a big move... no need to be a party pooper.

I find your statement to be overly simplistic in order to conform to your preconceived notions. What kind of FUD is this? Obviously there are coinbase rewards.

Where else can you send such a large amount for just 4 silly cents Probably work of an exchange, but still, very cool to see. I think the largest transaction I have seen was 350K BTC, can't remember if they used fee or not.

I think you are scared to lose your bank job... so lamenting in frustration.

Imagine some greedy sucker not paying the fee and having his money stuck with no confirmation for weeks.
