Simply leaving coins on exchanges. Many people had a bad surprise with Mintpal a few months ago, and it's far from being the only site to have scammed its clients.

Pretty much everyone asking you to send them coins in return for more coins later will turn out to be a scammer. It doesn't matter if their excuse for needing the coins is mining, trading or whatever the next big thing will be.

Use escrow no matter what. Scammed 400 USD from "highly trusted" several months back.

The first rule: Do not invest in suspicious alt-coins

The second rule: Do not send any Bitcoins to someone without using trusted escrow.

Yup you should always use escrow, and you also need to make sure you are really talking to that escrow.
Some people were scammed in the past by sending their bitcoin to the "escrow", without realizing it is an imposter with a very similar user name.

i got scammed 10$ reference

u can got scammed if u loan someone if u send fist the money for buy something invest on scam business always try to be safe !

escrow must

Loaning money to people doesn't seem like a very good idea on here. Many people pay back but also many people just scam even it if it's tiny amounts and you will lose money eventually because your profits are so low on the people who do pay back.

Loaning money is a good idea. Yeah its right but if you do with full member and above. If you are dealing with newnies and junior member then use extreme cution.

Thanks

I have not personally tried it, but bitbond was discussed here in this thread.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=901412.0

The last guy that replied, stup2plending, testified to have interviewed the owner and says he's legit.

They also have an account here in the forums, albeit still a newbie.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=384308

The btclendingclub, on the other hand, was just suggested by other people on the forum.

But I do agree that btcjam is the most well known of the three, so it would be best to use that.

Thank you. I'm actually planning to invest in btcjam once I have the funds. Smiley

Bitbond also looks good though. If more good reviews pop up, I'll consider investing there as well.

As long as you control your own private keys, you will never be scammed by someone else.

Just remember to never trust anyone else even on the forum, unless you really know them

Yea don't trust any one if you don't know him personally because if you don't know some one personally you can not do any thing if he scam you.
