Okay, I'm tired of BFL's BS, so I have formed my own company to deliver low cost AISC mining hardware to the community. Announcing Dragonfly Hardware Systems (DHS) Introducing the MicroRig  DHS has outsourced for manufacture an existing AISC chip that when looped will preform the double hash that is required for the BitCoin network. Simulations have put this chip at about 2Gh/s at about 1 watt. Initial pricing will start at $500 for pre-orders starting on 25 June 2012. Pre-orders will be limited to two(2) MicroRigs per person/address. Unlimited ordering will begin sometime in early July, at that time the price will be moved to $750. Deliveries will begin 4 - 6 weeks after ordering. If your order isn't received at the end of the 6th week, at the purchasers request all monies paid fill be returned in full.
* This is all total bullshit, if you are dumb enough to believe it, order away and send me all your BTC, I will hold it for 6 weeks, make interest off of it, or maybe buy some more mining gear for myself, and then send it back to you in 6 weeks. No attempt will be made to actually deliver this product. This is a joke.

No, It's for sure an AISC chip, not ASIC, says so right on the outside of it. |

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

Yes, about the same amount that you get laid currently. better than the BFL RIG "getting laid" ratio? It is user dependent. But as far as a I know, nobody has gotten laid because they have a smallish ugly toaster looking device with a fan strapped to it next to their computer. Edit: Talked to BFL, they said the "Getting Laid" version of their singles will ship in 4 to 6 weeks. |

As we now have received an order for units totaling 10 quintillion dollars US, all orders placed after this will have an expected shipping time of 12 to 15 weeks. However, please feel free to continue to pre-order. We are also working on a quantum-compute version of this chip, expected speed in 10 Th/s at 0.1 watt. Expect an announcement in October sometime. Anyone who buys a MicroRig will be able to trade it in for the newer quantum-compute version at full purchase price at release. |
