Who needs auto payout ...

Clearly its something I would like to see, hence the asking.  There are very few pools that dont have it.

kind regards

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

POOL DOWN

Our upstream pool died on us, the automatic failover failed (ironic, right?) so I had to manually switch the pool.

Clearly you missed my sarcasm.

Clearly you missed my sincerity and needlessly obfuscated the thread.

My simple feature request is that we have an auto payout method.
A simple 0.1 or greater auto payout would put this pool in line with the benchmark standard.

This might also elevate the hot wallet out of funds frustration, being that payouts could happen when funds are subsequently available.

Please comment BasementMiner.  You seem to have skipped past my last post.

kind regards

I don't reply to every suggestion but I do read them. This is already planned and was suggested previously by those who didn't want to receive random payments by other people cashing out for them.

I've added some funds to create a 50 BTC buffer on the pool's wallet, there shouldn't be any payment issues anytime soon.

Thanks.

I'm going to go ahead with the migration now, there should be around 20 minutes downtime (the database is quite large).

Thanks.

Dear OP, how is migration going?
It seems things are not coming back up since some 3 hours.
Not pushing, just would like to know...

Its been done for a quite a while now, but there are some private network issues at SoftLayer they are trying to resolve. I'll keep you guys updated.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Edit: Back in business.

I've been up for the past 5 hours attempting to resolve this issue, its nearly 5 AM and it was a hell of a bug to track down.

At first I thought it was an bug in the code, but it wasn't. It turns out our hosting provider's DNS servers (SoftLayer) do not like to be bombarded with DNS requests at the same rate we were receiving getworks/getwork completions. I cached them, now everything is fine.

Now, time for some sleep. Grin
