Bump. I still get this all the time.

Today, one transaction is still unconfirmed after several hours, and it had this error.

I have been having the same problem since last week.  I don't know if it still does this but since then I stopped using blockchain.info.  I sent several transactions but blockchain.info was giving me an error saying error pushing transaction.

None of those transaction would go through for some reason.  So I dump my blockchain.info wallet into a bitcoin client to get my funds since blockchain.info said all my funds where gone even though they never sent them.

My funds showed up right away when using the bitcoin desktop client rather then blockchain.info.  I then tried blockchain.info again to see if the problem was fixed by sending my funds to a new blockchain.info address.

The same problem kept happening even when trying to send new bitcoins that I got in a new wallet on blockchain.info.  It would end up running into the same unconfirmed transaction bs and error pushing transaction.

I just gave up using it since then and just imported my wallet back to the bitcoin desktop client.

What does this error mean?  I have bitcoins but I can not send them.  I logged out and back in to no avail.  I get the error every time.

This Error means the transaction was pushed out by our server but was not relayed back by any nodes.

It generally happens because blockchain.info allows spending of unconfirmed transactions. Sometimes if a parent transaction has poor network propagation no nodes will have it in their memory pool and any subsequent transactions will spend it will be rejected.

I'm working on improving the issue by repeatedly pushing transactions with poor propagation out again until at at least 100 nodes have accepted it.

Got this same error, no matter how much or where I try to send.  Yes, have tried waiting, logging out and back in, yada yada, to no avail.

Effectively the coins made it in from MTGox -> blockchain.info  and now are trapped, unable to be sent to any other addresses.

If blockchain.info ever has technical difficulties then just go to the "paper wallet" section of the "import/export" tab and copy the private keys and import them into another client.

I say to use the paper wallet page because I have seen keys in the export section that are not compatible with the main client for some reasons, the same keys are presented in a more compatible format for the paper wallet.

Are you using the Opera web browser? If so please upgrade to the latest version.

As soon as I updated Opera to the latest version, transactions went through smooth.

I could suggest improved error messages to help end users in diagnosing, but support answered my query quickly, directly, sorted the problem, and got me up and running in no-time.

Cool software and good customer service = one I'll be using and recommending to others!
