There is highly coordinated and massive DDoS attack ! hashproft will be back.. do you really believe a site with almost 200k user will just just disappear. no way its a money maschine

The number of users is obviously made up and increased automatically by some sort of program. Hardly anything they've said is true.

dont think.. i saw hashprofit everywhere even google ads. the partnership program went well

If you don't get better at being sceptical to totally unrealistic claims you will lose more money to scams.

Just because a site CAN be a fraud because someone says so it doesnt have to be written in stone.

This is how I believe it happened.

-It was all a Ponzi scam from the beginning, there are no data centres or miners. They were simply selling hot air.
-They made themselves look legit by sponsoring Bitcoin conference and being visable in different Bitcoin blogs etc.
-Created PFC to premine, pump and dump. Making it overvalued by selling KH/s at their site. Plan was then to dump all their PFCs when the Poinzi collapsed. Probably they didn't plan on PFCs going down so quick in value before they could sell it.
-Plan was to close HP site on Saturday 25/12, that's when payments stopped and they were supposed to be out of their so-called "SmartMining" KH/s with 75% off.
-For some reason they decided to keep it going another day (and also add 50,000KHS SmartMining out of thin air)
They might not have been finished with their "Pay to message" form or they  just got more greedy and wanted to sell more fake KH/s
-Then on Sunday, just when their supposed additional KH/s were out, the DDOS attack just happened to commence and site was closed.

I see no possibility in hell that this site will ever come back or that we will ever see any of our BTCs again.
Hopefully we can catch the people behind this scam though.

Ok guys something came into my mind for tracking HP.

One of the payment methods they used for selling their HR was Webmoney (wmz)
webmoney is a russian online wallet (like paypal) which needs different levels of identity verification.

If anybody can find their WMID (has purchased using wmz) we can find some information about them, or at least maybe we can contact Webmoney company to freeze their account.
