Fresh article (yesterday) from Ivestopedia. Author seems to be extremely out of date, but thought it's worth sharing since the Investopedia is considered somewhat reliable/serious investment dictionary.

i don't doubt that.  but some among the 1.0 coins will be going up as well.  maybe the ones with the higher hashrates will be the ones shooting up...?

anyone know a site where we can see the top hashrates of mineable coins listed from top to bottom?  couldn't find one at google...

Didn't make sense until I figured she must had meant breed.  Actually I have used investopedia as sources and some of their articles are rather good, but this one is downright atrocious.  They also repeated Zetacoin twice in a single sentence (what coin is that again?).


As for thinking Primecoin is still relevant at its' $hitcoin capitalization.

i don't doubt that.  but some among the 1.0 coins will be going up as well.  maybe the ones with the higher hashrates will be the ones shooting up...?

shure that BTC will be always on top but most important thing that add value of money is practicality. You have to be able to use this coins and now most of altcoins is only for trading

Dogecoin will hit 100 or even more next year. Dont invest in crypto simply looking at short term gains, play long 1 year + and youll be minted off your face like quite a number of people on this forum

yeah, seems the author has just viewed a few months old web.archive.org link of coinmarketcap.com and taken the top 10 alts by market capitilzation with a ***coin suffix.

At least investopedia is starting to initiate more coverage on crypto 2.0, e.g http://www.investopedia.com/articles/investing/121014/medici-blockchain-stock-exchange.asp

This could be true, aiming simplicity in an innovative way i would bet on. I also think we will see less successful scams in 2015

Stage 1 -  Denial - Bitcoin is a joke, ponzi scheme, etc
Stage 2 -  Believer - Bitcoin is real!!
Stage 3 -  Discovery - WHAT?  There's altcoins??
