Hi cakir,

One of our primary goals are to have BTMi accepted as an ffm alternative (by any partner airline, hotel, travel agency, cc company, etc etc) and to be used in the same way that your traditional ffm is used (see our short introduction). We have a full marketing schedule which also involves reaching out to airlines. cc companies and other relevant potential 'adopters'.

Did you type the wallet unlock command in the debug window?

From the Menu Selections choose Help -> Debug
When the debug window pops up click on the 'Console' tab. Then enter the wallet unlock command.

walletpassphrase <passphrase> <timeout>

The above steps unlock my wallet so it does unlock after being encrypted.

I like the long-term PoW block rewards involved. Get the miner pump/dump out of the way in the first year, then introduce merge-mineability with LTC, DOGE, SYS, etc. to guarantee a certain level of nethash. This will allow you to use a long-term history of network stability as a selling point to build relationships with airlines and BTMI reward offerers.

Develop proper contracts for merchant adoption and I think you'll have a good shot at wide scale cryptocurrency distribution amongst public users. I've thought for awhile now that a good way for cryptocurrency to achieve a new level of mass market penetration would be to use it as market-tradeable reward points/miles, and fund that through merchant programs.

To achieve market penetration on the same level as Air Miles and Aeroplan etc., you'll have a long road ahead of you, but it would definitely be doable with a clear plan. For merchant partnerships, I would approach NewEgg, Dell, and anyone else who is accepting Bitcoin as a medium of purchase. Lots of purveyors of digital goods will begin to accept BTC over 2015; as soon as you see a company in the news who's begun accepting BTC, hit them up for a BitMiles partnership.

Looking forward to your whitepaper, and mining in the meantime.

Hi guys,

We will be having a small post-launch giveaway (per forum basis) in which we will be giving away a starting total of 1,000,000 BTMi =  20,000 BTMi to the first 25 miners that post back here with their BTMi wallet address.

Enjoy!

Giveaways are not allowed on this broad. If you post wallet addresses they will close this thread down.

DEV,
Yeah you'd better burn most of the 48.3 Million pre-mine (like 98% of it)
or the coin will fail. These days you can't take 1% of an 8 year mining supply.
Do some math. No one is going to mine it with you holding 48.3 Million over their heads.
