moriartybitcoin is a known scammer who runs a large number of fraudulent websites. After doing some investigating I have determined that moriaritybitcoin is BlackLilac Financial, another scammer who also ran a large number of fraudulent websites and also Envrin, a British Columbia-based startup company who deals with cryptocurrencies.

Most of moriartybitcoin's websites are protected by cloudflare, which makes it more difficult to determine the IP of the server as cloudflare acts as a reverse proxy. However more difficult doesn't mean impossible, so here are the true IP's of some of his fraudulent websites:

bitscams.org 37.46.114.129
bitwebhosting.com    185.28.189.209
bitzam.com 104.219.184.9
bitwant.com 185.28.189.207
bitarmored.com 130.255.188.243
coinchimp.com 104.219.184.12
vcbtc.com 104.219.184.18
bitplastic.com  104.219.184.9
hotbitcoins.com  198.58.84.200
bitlisting.com 37.46.114.129
bitspeculate.com  104.219.184.18
thebitcoinescrow.com  104.219.184.9
bitlaunder.com    104.219.184.16
bitsecurity.com 79.170.40.93
bitmeetup.com 37.46.114.129
bitsweeps.com 31.170.106.203
bitbing.com 37.46.114.129

Everyone please contact the hosting providers for these IP's and let them know they are hosting fraudulent websites, hopefully some of them will get taken down.

Moriartybitcoin is also Envrin on BitcoinTalk and owns the website http://envrin.com which is a cryptocurrency "startup" in British Columbia.

Moriartybitcoin is also BlackLilac Financial, there is a scam accusation thread concerning their various websites and accounts here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321290.0

One thing I found quite funny is this, here is a fake address moriaritybitcoin used to register a domain:

Mr Michael Moriarty
The Bitcoin Network
115 East Pender St.
Vancouver,
British Columbia
V6A 1T6
(778)698-2215

And here is an address BlackLilac used when registering a domain:
Black Lilac Financial Corporation
1155 W Pender St
Vancouver, BC
V6E 2V2
Canada
1 (877) 420-7992

It also appears BlackLilac may be being investigated by law enforcement in Canada, so if you have been defrauded by moriartybitcoin/blacklilac, you might want to read the scam accusation thread and get in contact with the officers investigating:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321290

I've not finished my investigation and will be adding to this thread in the future, but from what I've found so far I do believe it is quite likely we will eventually get real personal information on the person behind all of these scams. Please email me if you have found anything useful, if you wish to send me a donation to help me out with my time, you can send to: 13Lwo1hK5smoBpFWxmqeKSL52EvN8U7asX

I don't have shit-all to do with blacklilac.

As for Envrin, that's a development company I paid to develop some sites, and that's my only connection to them either.

Keep digging ...

Nah, I'm pretty sure it's you man, there is plenty of evidence. If Envrin are a "company" you hired then you must have hired them to support your customers too seeing as email accounts for many of your websites are pointed to their domain.

I never like involving the government mainly because I think they do more bad than good in these situations and even if you're convicted it's unlikely victims will get much or even any reimbursement, but if you continue to scam I'll have no choice but to give all the information and evidence I have and everything I find in the future to the relevant LEA, so maybe you should think about quitting while your ahead.

the ONLY relevant complaint against me is the $80k accusation.

Envrin is a closed-source CMS.  Other than hiring them for some web development, I have no association with them.

As for blacklilac, well, this thread was the first I heard of them.  I don't run scams, I run businesses.

Every fucking scam on the net these days seems to get blamed on me, it's really absurd.  Anyone who uses my sites is happy, and everyone else can piss off.

No, you most definitely control the forum account named Envrin. That is a fact. I'm not going to point out all the mistakes you made because it's better that you don't know what they are and keep making them, but even if you open up these two pages and simply compare your writing style by eye, it becomes clear you are the same person:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=166158;sa=showPosts
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=185759;sa=showPosts

Anyway I'm not going to argue it with you. You can deny it all you want but I don't think your going to convince anyone.

There are so many threads on here about moriartybitcoin it is ridiculous. I think he probably should win some kind of award for running the most bitcoin related scams (that comes with some kind of criminal record)

I'm more or less new to BTC stuff.

I know the name Moriarty well. I have heard it many times in connection to many scams.

Interesting that he responds to forums. Wonder if he's really from Canada. I know some people in East Van that would LOVE to meet him.

Thanks for exposing this guy, but what information do you have that would make you definitively say that he is also BlackLilac Financial? The fact that he used a somewhat similar address is suspicious, but far from evidence of anything. Do you have any other info that you are not sharing?

It does seems likely with the same fake business address that it's our guy. I have Grant Millars home address as of early last year. I also have details of one of his ex business partners (who stopped doing business with him because he was a scammer). I hired a PI who contacted him earlier last year, he's not keen on talking but he might have the latest info on this sociopath.

Great research and developments OP! I don't have time to sift through it all right now so I'm going to mark this thread with a post so it's in my subscribed threads. I have been following that bastard moriarty's scamming ever since I first came across this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=713699.0

He's one of only a couple people I've ever marked as a scammer with negative trust on here. He's despicable and in my opinion one of the worst scammers involved with Bitcoin. The Bitcoin world will be so much better off when this fucker gets caught. Keep on it OP let's get him losing sleep and shitting himself. He is a definite liar and con man, so when he vehemently denies that someone is him, it's more than likely him. Keep on it and keep up the good work!

What balls/stupidity you have to admit that the accusation of you stealing $80,000 worth of Bitcoin is legitimate and then turn around and say that you run businesses and not scams.
