As mentioned before you should get rescan to work (where it will redownload the blockchain). If that does not work please post a logfile.

I am curious, what will happen if this coin doesn't follow the path that you predict for it? Will your belief in the coin change, or in crypto generally? You are confident that this coin is not good, but I'm wondering if your level of assurance is something that you developed based on your own prior investments having turned bad, or perhaps insider information, or to a keen sense of foresight based on the evaluation of a diverse number of coins over a period of time? I ask because; it's probably quite easy for a confirmation bias to occur when a coin turns bad - you could easily tell people you called it correctly days, weeks or months before the fact, but what of the times when the coin did well? Do you acknowledge in equal measure the times you incorrectly called a coin out to be a bad investment or a scam? Or maybe every coin you discussed with people really did turn out to be a failure, and you've never been wrong

In any case, it's painful seeing my own investments hurting (I bought in at 4200), but I really do hope that this lull is indirectly attributable to bitcoin's, and that things will eventually recover. Although, I'm also waiting for the store to fill out its product lineup and start shipping orders...

With BTC dumping it could be someone looking to put their money elsewhere for now. This is just an opportunity to average down and make an even better investment over a long term period. As a community we should think of ways to give even more value to our investment, not moan and cry "dev fix the price".
