since we are dropping back to $0.001, will you also look at the price of $0.001 at few years ago and come back to tell us not big deal?

Trolling on here going into overdrive.

I don't see the word "non" in the quote, but I'm not looking for a battle, just a discussion.

Would have saved a lot of wealth if they had started pouring their wealth from the rubble into Bitcoin a couple months ago..

People say fiat currencies are stable but they are not always stable. The USD gained more than 40% comapred to the Ruble.

I heard something about the Kraken giving some sort of compensation for MtGox account holders. Do you know how it works because it involves a load of bitcoins?
edit/
I found it.
http://blog.kraken.com/post/103599171158/mt-gox-bankruptcy
Duties that Kraken may be asked to carry out include the following:
Aid in the investigation of possible lost or stolen Bitcoin
Aid in the creation of a system to file and investigate claims
Help to distribute Bitcoin and/or fiat assets to creditors
Exchange Bitcoin to fiat currency when needed
Off topic, but about this: interesting that before the hard drives are taken into custody by Kraken they'll be wiped out clean (uh oh)...

FTFY.
But hey, I'll match your hindsight & schadenfreude with "You could have saved a lot of wealth by pouring your Bitcoin into USD a year ago."

Actually if they had poured it into bitcoin, the price would probably be higher now and a better return than the USD..

Great point.  And if they have poured it into BTCeanie BTCabies, BTCeanie BTCabies price would have skyrocketed & they could have had even better return.
Just can't let go of that pyramid scheme thinking, can you?

Do the calculation : you take the exchange rate USD/Ruble on January 1st and now then BTC/USD on January 1st and now

Russians have been selling off their USD on a very large scale this past year. I suppose that was not the smartest move.

very smart of the russians to buy bitcoin with their ruble because why only loose value of your ruble, when you can even buy bitcoin and even shrink the total amount of your ruble?

Right on russians, kick in the afterburner for flushing your money down the toilet. There is always a way to loose money faster. Bitcoin not fast enough? Buy litecoin then!
