Starting to Mine USB ASIC?

Hello,
I have found out about Bitcoin mining a few days ago and I have read into it and found it quite interesting. I do understand how to mine but I don't know what hardware and software to get. I was thinking preferably a USB ASIC miner with an old computer I've got. My price range is around $200 maybe $250 tops. What miner and mining software do you suggest I get?

They ship miners worldwide.   Don't know your customs exactly but I'm sure the big companies know the procedure.  Biggest thing is if you pay a VAT.  And also your electricity price.

There is not really a great usb asic.  Prisma's would have been the modern one but they did a buy back.  And the thumb drive miners are novelty.  I hope someone comes up with one but I don't know that there is a great usb controlled one right now.

I would suggest saving up and possibly looking at the SP-20 they went down on price.    It has long term mining with underclocking. But is above price you mention.

Yeah, I found out that my PC runs at ~400 wats and that the price of electricity is about at 0.18 USD. I'll take a look at the SP-20 and see if I can be flexible with price, however I think I would prefer many smaller USB ACICS over one large one.

That looks really good and consumes such a small amount of electricity! However, (excuse me for being new and all) but what cord doesn't it come with? Can you provide a link please? And how do you monitore this without a computer? How do you install the software and link this box up with pools without being able to monitor it?

But this time they sell it included the controller(TPLINK TL-MR3020) & usb cable.
OFC the power supply is not included. You need to buy it in computer store.

TPLINK TL-MR3020 will act as "PC". Basically technobit upgrade the TL-MR3020 firmware to openwrt.
You can access the configuration page using web interface by calling the TL-MR3020 ipaddress from your computer.

The TPLINK is common and easy to get at most online computer stores (Ex. newegg etc.).  Normally around 20 dollars.  On power it also has PCI-e where that is extremly easy if you have a PSU sitting around.
