As an investor on both bit-x and POS coins, I am quite interested in reading this paper. However the link to it seems to be broken. Could you please fix it?

Mining bitcoin is as easy as turning on a light bulb with BitFury: http://www.coindesk.com/bitfury-light-bulbs-mine-bitcoin/

May I know what will be the hash rate (in TH/s) per light bulb set and the amount of power it consumes? I guess it won't be that energy efficient though! Also it might produce excessive amount of heat (as hashing speed gets increased gradually) which needs to be taken care of. BTW, does it produce sounds like the big boys (Antminers) Tongue

I'll definitely try this miner out...

The lamp will be silent as it's passively cooled. The hash rate and power draw will be announced when the product is finished.

Do you have a tentative date for a product launch?  Q1 2016? Or something like the second half of 2016? Thanks

We invite you to watch our video of the new 16nm chip! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zPpj1JYw38

This is first out of 3 videos in series about our new 16nm Bitcoin Mining ASIC where we demonstrate the low power performance of the chip. Notice that there is no heat sink attached. In the next videos we will demonstrate high power performance and higher hash rate that can be achieved by using a heat sink.

We expect mining devices with the 16nm chip to start appearing on the market as soon as by the end of March 2016.

Please beware of scammers and check our website for listing of confirmed integrator and reseller partners. We will be listing them in the coming weeks.

Здpaвcтвyйтe.

To чтo ceйчac пpoиcxoдит или yжe пpoизoшлa цeнтpaлизaция вычиcлитeльныx мoщнocтeй ceти bitcoin, кaк бы нe ceкpeт, и этo мaлo тoгo чтo бecпoкoит, тaк eщe и пpoтивopeчит caмoй идee биткoин! Чтoбы cнять этoт вoпpoc, нyжны нeдopoгиe дocтyпныe пo цeнe и дocтaвкe coвpeмeнныe acики фopмaтa USB Flash, c нeбoльшим пoтpeблeниeм, кoтopыe бы мaйнили тoлькo coлo (и жeлaтeльнo тoлькo биткoин).

Итaк пo пyнктaм, Я этo вижy тaк:
1. Фopмaт USB Flash, низкoe энepгoпoтpeблeниe, дocтaтoчнo coвpeмeнныe и пpoизвoдитeльныe чипы.
2. Уcтpoйcтвo мaйнит тoлькo битки и тoлькo coлo.
3. Пpoдaeтcя кaк лoтepeйный билeт - типa мoжeшь пoймaть блoк, или для энтyзиacтoв биткoин, кoтopыe бы xoтeли пoддepжaть дeцeнтpaлизaцию ceти и paзвивaть ee.
4. Уcтpoйcтвo дoлжнo пpoдaвaтьcя  нa aliexpress и cтoить 15-20$ c бecплaтнoй дocтaвкoй.
5. Paзyмeeтcя пo мoщнocти и цeнe, ycтpoйcтвo нe дoлжнo быть кoнкypeнтoм для пpoмышлeннoгo мaйнингa, чтoбы пpoмышлeнники вce эти ycтpoйcтвa и нe cкyпили!

Пpocьбa opгaнизoвaть вce этo, ecли вы дeйcтвитeльнo cтoитe нa зaщитe блoкчeйнa.

Cпacибo.

Hello.

What is happening now or has already occurred centralization of computing power bitcoin network, as it is not a secret and it is not enough that worried, so also is contrary to the very idea of Bitcoin! To remove this problem, we need cheap and affordable delivery of modern Asik format USB Flash, with little consumption, which would only solo Mein (and preferably only Bitcoin).

So the points, I see it like this:
1. USB Flash format, low energy consumption, quite modern and efficient chips.
2. The device Mein only chops and only solo.
3. Sold as a lottery ticket - the type you can catch block, or for Bitcoin enthusiasts who would like to support the decentralization of the network and develop it.
4. The unit should be sold on aliexpress and cost $ 15-20 with free shipping.
5. Of course in power and price, the device should not be a competitor for industrial of mining, to manufacturers all of these devices and do not skimp!

Please arrange all this, if you really stand on the protection of blockchain.

Thank you.

Hi All,
We are glad to announce an official thread of BitFury Group. Here we will publish all important information about our Company.

BitFury Group has chosen Bit-X – a new online platform for cryptocurrency exchange, to serve for the time being as a platform for trading BitFury's hash power.

MORE DETAILS:
Q: How much does it cost?
A: The market defines the price.

Q: How much do you sell? Any specific requirements to qualify to buy?
A: Currently, 1PH has been allocated to Bit-X, no specific requirements.

Q: Is that the only place where BitFury sells its hashpower?
A: At this time, this is the only public trading place for BitFury's hashpower.
Why you don't make cloud mining by your self ? i think it is will become famous and many people use your services because you have hardware by your self and your services will be trusted by users.

I think they already have a cloud mining service. Go to http://bitfury.com/ look at the bottom of the page. There is a link to www.hashing24.com
So I believe this project is owned by Bitfury.
