I personally think that holding 2500 BTC until Feb or March would have been more profitable than buying the mini Rig.

BTW thanks for posting about bitcoin in april 2011. You were the one who got me interested in bitcoin.

Thanks I am glad you got in at that low point.

Finally currency/money is a sterile asset it really does not produce more it's value increases based on supply/demand and relative value.  Real wealth comes from CREATING IT!  What that means is that I can save 2500 bitcoins and it will not increase the number of bitcoins I have but I can spend it on a productive asset such as business that sells products for bitcoins or a bitcoin mining rig.

Lets say worst case I get my mini rig late and it takes about 6 months to recover the costs.  Once I have my 2.5k back I get bitcoins for free after my power costs.

So when you say that I will make more with 2.5k in my pocket I say good because my mini rig will create it for me and then some.

I hope you learned something new again

When you put it that way it makes my belly hurt.  But I have no choice since I understand how our money works, making us slaves to bankers, and how our government owns us, I don't know about you but I would like to exit the matrix.

Lets list all the ways I could get screwed...

1) BFL fails to deliver
2) BFL is very late in delivering the product
3) My mini rig fails
4) My mini rig has partial failure.


Lets see what the river card is next month.

they can still deliver it to the wrong place, happens from time to time. or a friend of mine got his package heavy damaged during transport and UPS didnt want to replace, accodring to them he destroy'd it. all this BS with these stupid companys hiring as cheap as possible human scum to deliver stuff and dont care anymore about quality yes this is harsh but sadly its a fact.

If I were spending 30k on a rig the size of a trashcan, I wouldn't be trusting delivery anywhere.  I'd buy a $150 ticket to BFL and fly it back home personally.
