They apparently changed their order number scheme?

Could be..or maybe someone finally wrote a script to create thousands of false orders to skew their numbering scheme haha

42 in one order number?

Squall1066,

There are many order numbers over a week period.  I just didn't have all the numbers so I put them all on my first order number.

I think month and date are transposed, so it's Feb 7, not July 2 2013

Total Orders (By last seen)   15454 (with the preceeding 1000 of the new number)

Orders Tracked   317

Units Sold

Jalapeno SC   214
Mini Single SC   37
Single SC   345
Mini Rig SC   25

Some scary food for thought:

Average units per order:

Jalapeno SC       0.3446   =      1.551 GHash
Mini Single SC     0.0596   =     1.787 GHash
Single SC   345   0.5556   =   33.333 GHash
Mini Rig SC   25    0.0403   =   60.386 GHash

Avg Ghash per order = ~97 Ghash

Times 15454 orders = 1,499 TH or 1.5 PETA hashes per second = ~215 Million difficulty ONLY counting BFL.  Grin

You do realize there aren't actually 15k orders..right? Even some community contributors have actually written a couple papers on the subject..

Hey Squall, noticed an error on the front page under my 5467 order. The one with the Jalapeno can be erased since I upgrade it to a Single (which is on there).

Never reported my orders here, but you'll be happy to know I cancelled an order for a Single, and a Lil Single last week.

BFL recently culled all the unpaid orders. They were almost at 20k and now they're down to 17k after. I believe most of the papers you refer to were written before then, but if you have any links I'd like to see what else they say.

Ha, but you're still assuming that there have been that many orders to begin with...which is essentially assuming that over 50% of all known workers have purchased at least a Single SC.

Um, no. What I've is made two SEPARATE assumptions. One is that the average of the orders recorder here is the same as the average off ALL the orders, and the second is that there are as many orders as the latest order number.

It's just a rough outline and I know it's flawed, but that link you posted isn't publicly accessible, so I can't see what you're suggesting.
