The charts are being manipulated to make you think it's bad but I see huge accumulation happening... We will have a huge bounce considering too many shorters in the market and still no ability to break below 300.

The bounce is about to start, buy now or cry later!  Cry

I agree.

The prices are manipulated. Huge traders made out with btc at cheap prices. They were in no hurry to push it up till now. But, I think now it is about to explode.

Prices are going up steadily. I think it is led currently by okcoin. The same exchange which led the bear run?
At $328 ~ $329 now.

I hope the much expected spike will come up soon. Smiley

I also realized this!
and I believe will continue to rise. I'm anxious to see prices at the end of the day.

How do you guys think the price is manipulated? Sometimes I think there's no other reason or logic other than supply and demand and people panic selling.

I don't see or read about a lot of fear.  Rather we seem to have a fairly persistent down trend.  I'm still enjoying blaming the Chinese exchanges, nothing to fear there.  (That is how price can be manipulated, exchange says it has X amount of bitcoin it doesn't, sells for fiat, goes and blows fiat money on cars and such.)

Good Luck!

There are probably some pump and dump or dump and buy then sell but the supply and demand forces and panic selling are good explanations of the current price.

Pump and dump by who? There's quite a bit of trade volume. If Mt.Gox still existed it would make sense though.

What can get Bitcoin back up?  Everyone I tell about that has "heard" of Bitcoin is scared to get back in, they think it is crashing so they don't want to invest any of their own money.  What needs to happen is the current Bitcoiners need to get the price back up

And how do you propose they magically do that? The only logical way is to spread adoption. The more people get involved the more demand there is. Bitcoin needs to be used for it to become valuable and for people to use it they need to be able to spend it.

THe small amounts by adoption would sum up to big. Also,  back in 2011-12, a drop had happened, where the prices crashed from 230$ to 80$, I am sure people didn't think of the drop before running it upto 1300 next year.

Well using the same principles of supply and demand, I would say if each Bitcoiner started buying more and more Bitcoins that the supply would go down, and the demand would go up correct?

It would just take every bitcoiner to buy one Bitcoin extra and the next bubble would happen. But markets aren't like that  Smiley

There must be a lot of bitcoiners who cannot afford even one whole bitcoin yet. For some people a bitcoin must cost an insignificant amount of money but for others it must cost a lot. In some third world countries it might amount to a months wages.

They are buying... more and more bitcoin is being bought than ever before... Why do you think the price can't break 300 even with all the dumping?!

'Coz that sort'a thing would'a spooked you right out.  Gotta finesse these things, let out some line, let you run a bit, but not so's that you tire yourself out...
