Bots and traders have hammered the price of bitcoin in 2014. Enough is enough!

What if miners all around the world would unite and decide to strike all at once?  No more mining of bitcoin until the price goes back to decent profitability levels?

The network would stall for about 10 days - granted.  But, the message would go load and clear to those "Wall Street" traders... respect the producers of bitcoin!

Eh, what?

Why do you think it would rise if the mining was to stop?

Only if he finds a block. And that maybe difficult without petahashes...

Under development Modular UPGRADEABLE Miner (MUM). Looking for investors.
Changing one PCB with screwdriver and you have brand new miner in hand... Plug&Play, scalable from one module to thousands.

Nah, you actually have to take a hell long to mine cause the difficulty is stuck at really high for many many months. Difficulty don't retarget immediately like some alt-coin do Smiley

Traders are not driving down BTC prices. It is miners who must sell most of their output in order to keep mining.
The issue for miners is BTC mining is a zero sum game - you invest to take production away from the competition.

It also has someone who was not thinking.  Not even a chance this will happen.
