I've invested in a trezor and i can say that it was really a good deal. security-wise, it seems that every single detail has been thought of.
a good investment i think.  trezor and ledger are my favourites too. |

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I am now back on my ledger as it is working and my trezor doesn't5 work now (its not recognised). Ledger has been more consistent and always let me use it. the only problem was when it came to spending bitcoin I needed my card as my linked phone app didn't show the transaction to accept. But now trezor I cant do anything. So Ledger has been the best for me so far But I do like the trezor too. All these problems for both will be fixed though. I guess we have to have these problems in order to overcome them. Try a different usb cable with the Trezor. The cable it ships with is a known issue. |

I tested one at some point. They introduced some weird changes to TREZOR firmware that they removed since then kept synchronizing with them. I have not followed up since to check how different / synchronized they are now. |

it is not a hardware wallet, it is a web wallet. you can use blockchain wallet (or other web wallets) for pocket money but not more than that. store large sums of BTC in a hardware wallet! |

You go to your local Bitcoin merchant, touch the card to his phone and give your PIN code. The third time you go to the same merchant no PIN code will be required and you can simply swipe your card like Will Smith did in I, Robot. (Don't worry it's still safe as there are various checks and limits in place) If he/she does not have the required app show him/her the QR code on the front of the card. Tell him/her it will make the Bitcoin payments faster, easier and more robust against internet interruptions. (For the moment this is for NFC enabled Android phones only) |
