Case looks promising, but $200 to pre-order something that doesn't exist yet is WAY too much. Why make the potential customer base take on all the risk here? What assurances exist to guarantee pre-orders will be filled? More importantly, why is Case worth such a high premium? A similar gadget, called Coin, was in a similar "pre-order now" situation (albeit it had nothing to do with Bitcoin) and that company has just disappeared...with all the early adopter cash in hand.

KeepKey – A Hardware Bitcoin Wallet With OLED Screen and Trezor CompatibilityHardware Bitcoin wallets are the next evolutionary step on the way of keeping BTC in safe and secure location. Considering most hardware wallets are pocket-sized, they have become increasingly convenient to carry around, and require no internet connection to use properly. One of the world’s leading hardware Bitcoin wallet manufacturers, Trezor, has gained the lion’s share of the market. But there is a new Trezor spinoff that will attempt to take that crown. http://insidebitcoins.com/news/keepkey-a-hardware-bitcoin-wallet-with-oled-screen-and-trezor-compatibility-3/33859

sorry, there has been a little synchronization glitch on our side, more official information this week Look forward to learning more. Very satisfied with my Nano, will probably pick up the Unplugged to "play" with while I wait patiently for the Blue.

easily enough, you just derive for a specific path. The API is BIP 32 oriented.

sorry, there has been a little synchronization glitch on our side, more official information this week Will you have US based retail outlets for the Ledger Unplugged available soon after launch? The shipping on a preorder basically doubles the price. Amazon would be preferred.

yes, very soon after if not right when it launches. We don't handle Amazon directly, but some retailers will probably do it, and our other shipping option to the US is usually quite cheap when provisioned.
