I'd like to post this additional info: this week the BitLox team will be uploading & open sourcing our apps (Chrome/Web/iOS/Android) that interface with this hardware wallet. Sorry to quote myself, but there is relevance! We've uploaded the source code for all the BitLox applications (the apps that talk to the device and the blockchain) Check it out here: https://github.com/BitLox

Looks like my thinking may have been wrong. I will be very interested to hear user experiences! I am happy with my Trezor and Ledger Nano as they are indeed rather simple to use, and ease of use is my main criterion after security.

KeepKey refuses to allow passphrase protected wallets in Chrome like Trezor always has. If your KeepKey seed is stolen so are your bitcoins. Now realize the same applies to Trezor, which is why smart Trezor users always use a passphrase on top of the PIN. With a passphrase protected wallet if your Trezor seed is stolen the thief gains nothing without the passphrase. KeepKey says if you want a passphrase protected wallet you have to jump through hoops installing python dependencies for Electrum-2.6.3. I have done it see directions here and it works but Electrum is a pain to use with KeepKey. For some reason KeepKey makes it intentionally difficult to password protect wallets while Trezor makes it simple and even recommends you use a passphrase. That is why I no longer use my KeepKey. I either use Trezor or my BitLox.

I either use Trezor or my BitLox. I'm stupendously honored to be included in this commentary. By the way, the problem with the key "feelings" in the first BitLox units has been vanquished. It was over-application of the glue by the assemblers, and the extra circuit board for the keypad needed to be trimmed back for the battery. This results in a practically flat faceplate with perfect keypad feeling.

Their facebook link does not work, their tweet is 6h ago. I'm sceptic about this but lets see reviews on May/June when they will ship these.

($35 +$5 for three)

Here is an image from the top of their Home Page: opendime.comThe info looks kind of impressive for a one-time use wallet, although $10 each seems a little expensive. Still, my imagination is captivated...
