Hello, i have been following bitcoin for a while now  and even if i never post anything here, i keep reading.
Today i pop up with a funny idea (yes inspired by other stuff but...) and i would like to have your feeling about it.
I am travelling in south america actually ( for 1 year or more) and my idea is to create a very simple website where  regulary ( every 2 weeks or so) suggest 2 or more destinations with a bitcoin adress associated & a deadline.
Anybody can give bitcoin to both adress and after we reach the deadline, i go to the place wich receive more bitcoin, take amazing picture with my camera and post it.

Do not matter how few bitcoin the adress receive, i go to the place that receive to the biggest amount of BTC.
on the site you should be able to follow me on a kind of map.
and then eventually later on implement some other features Smiley

Sounds great no?

The cost of mediation increases transaction costs, limiting the
minimum practical transaction size and cutting off the possibility for small casual transactions

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

That Sounds like an awesome idea, why don't you create a custom google map, with points on it and a bitcoin address appended to each point and then post the link here.

It would work even better if you were attractive and female!

check out reddit's bitcoin subreddit called /r/girlsgonebitcoin
for an example of what people will do for bitcoins...

I'm gonna crap myself if I ever find a strip bar that will take bitcoins. Not so much because I'd need the service but just the fact it existed, I'd go and dump some BTC on 'em.

Apparently there is a subreddit called girls gone bitcoin that is very nearly that. Don't know if it is still running,  but it may be relevant to your interests.

Sorry if that was too off topic. On topic: I think this is a cool idea. You may wind up only getting a few satoshis, but it'll be fun none the less. More of a hobby than a get-rich-quick scheme.
