That's a good question. I'll discuss that with the escrow (I've actively PM'd monbux), I was planning on leaving it until about mid-January so assuming the forums are quieter until NY, that would be fortnightly.

If this first giveaway goes well, my intention is to run monthly giveaways. If you've signed up once, you'll be in the runnings for all giveaways at a future date too (since I don't want people making fakes).

I thought my original post was clear enough, however, the point of my enterprise is that I have arranged for some exclusive promotions to Bonus Bits subscribers. As you can imagine until my list has more members (namely after the first giveaway) I will not be sending them out.

As it states both (implied) in the title and in first post, monbux the escrow is holding 0.1 BTC (he will confirm today when he has generated me a new escrow address) and we will be randomising a winner for the BTC.

That's a good question and the simple answer is I dont. That's to say I won't be choosing but the escrow as trusted by the community will be choosing. All I have for entrants is their email addresses ie no btctalk username so my initial idea was to get screenshots of the subscribers and block out parts of email addresses to correctly protect the confidential details of subscribers. With this identifiable but protected list I will allow the escrow to choose.

If you have any other ideas on how to select winners I'm happy to do listen!

As you can find in this thread monbux has the BTC escrowed and I've asked him to release payment to the addresses.

My issue was that I didn't want hundreds of winners PMing him and wanted to collate the addresses.

Monbux has now been sent the BTC addresses so it should be a matter of hours rather than days now, either way its out of my hands and we have discussed this so payment is imminent!

I'd be surprised if someone doesn't mount a last day challenge since statistically as it stands it would be worth it.

I wagered upto 50 since I didn't know who was your ref. I had assumed unluckyguy to be your ref, (you know prize is too big to risk), so I wagered more and got lucky.

With all due respect I'm paying you BTC out of my pocket for no profiteering reason of my own.

I have used a trusted community escrow to keep the funds safe and that same community escrow has all the btc addresses. He basically didn't believe me and his lack of trust in my authenticity has meant he is not sending the payments until people respond as he stated above. This is completely out of my hands now and due to the vulture like behaviour of many people who showed zero to little appreciation of the giveaway it will sadly be the last that I'm running.

I used an escrow because people demanded it but those people can't deal with the repercussions when that escrow takes care in his job, which is fair enough.

I have never said payments would be instant. I asked monbux to escrow because people asked me to use an escrow. All communication including a PM is transparent in this thread. My 2 satoshi's comment is purely to offer my direct response and perspective in this matter. If you think this is how I wanted the giveaway to have progressed then you are not particularly bright.

Ultimately if you think monbux has done a bad job escrowing the matter you're welcome to post your discontent here or elsewhere, or if you think there is another way I could have ran it from my side, you're equally welcome to offer an alternative for the future. I'm also willing to offer an interest-free 0.01 BTC loan as it seems that you are particularly desperate for it.

This is all on me.  Bit-bonus sent me the list 2 days ago.  I've been waiting for people to confirm and perhaps waited too long, but it seems like no one has any problems with the current set of addresses, so I'm sending now.  Please note once again that the "late payments" are because of me, as for the list was received 2 days ago.
