Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

They give your money because you visit their website which is loaded with adds. In fact you pay with your time to view adds and the faucet gets a revenue from the advetiser.

Exactly, it's an everybody wins situation however you only get fractions of a bitcoin worth not a whole lot.

Free BTC is Free BTC!!! Even if you only pick up $.50 a week in BTC who knows what that $.50 could turn into........ To Me its just free BTC for 5 seconds to type in a captcha. Fugg it.
