newbcoin hasn't paid out in 3 weeks;  i think it's may also be resetting the balance to 0 after you reach the threshold.

bithits.info hasn't paid out in 2 months.

coinreaper and bunnyrun haven't paid out in a while.

Thanks for the feedback. I will check them out when I get caught up with things...  anybody else have any luck with these sites lately?

I will do that when I get the time a little later.  Thanks for the notice of your site getting back into action.

My thinking now is why bother spending hours and days the "work" when I can save myself those hours and days by getting a dollar worth of BTC on ebay.

Hmm...  Are you the one selling that BTC on ebay?  There are much better places to buy Bitcoin.

The BTC one gets from these faucets is free and doesn't take a lot of time.

Unfortunately we needed to shut down our faucets. Someone had stolen all our bitcoins (somewhere around 2BTC). We need to make completely clean up on our servers, and configure it from the beggining. This will take some time.
Don't worry you will not lose any of your accumulated bitcoins. Just after site restart, you will be able to continue collecting BTC
We hope that we will back soon. I will report site restart in this topic.

Best regards,
Maciej 'Dreydahh' Winkler - Head admin of bitcointree.net and btcflow.net

Thanks for this notice Dreydahh. I was deprived of internet access when you first announced this to me and the forum. I will update the list after I add all the newbies who have applied to join the newbie lotto.

List updated.  Hope you get your sites back up soon.  Good luck.

http://freebitcoin.com.pl/

upon entering email and clicking dispense , it takes me to a solid white blank screen.

Has anyone gotten any payouts from these sites, without having to do any offers or jump through any other hoops?

Bunnyrun seems to have a problem. I can't seem to get the bunnies to start racing.

I will have to wait a while to see if the other sites you mention payout... I am monitoring them.

then netlookup.se faucet seems to be dried up. ( removed from list )

hartcode doesn't seem to be working right.

devfaucet also doesn't seem to be working... the tab disappears whenever I try to input my inputs.io address.

freebitcoins.es doesn't seem to have a faucet anymore... I don't speak Spanish so I don't know what the text says.

cfm faucet doesn't seem to have anything to payout.

I will watch the above sites to see what goes on before giving them a * or removing them from the list.

Anyone have anything else to report about these sites?

Thanks

Can't believe they moved this thread after all this time, it really needs to be in newbie.  It helped me a lot, good luck!

yes many new members have many helping matters here from where they can got some coins and new things about all this

I just get back from being without internet access for a month and now that I am starting to get back to maintaining the list and doing draws for the newbie lotto again they all of a sudden decide to hide this thread away in some dark corner??   Huh

Yes very many people have gotten started in Bitcoin by using these faucets.  Over 1200 have joined in the newbie lotto, in a little over half a year, and many others have decided not to join the lotto but have still used the faucets in the list.  Some people feel that Bitcoin might not have gone very far if it wasn't for Gavin starting the original faucet to help people get started in Bitcoin.

I feel this thread should not only be in the newbie section but stickied there as well!   This list is not about gambling. It is about giving away free Bitcoin... very small amounts but free none the less.  The only gambling sites in the list are ones that have free rolls and giveaways with no strings attached. The newbie lotto is also free to join.

This list is not about helping these various free BTC sites but is all about helping the newbie Bitcoins users. Many so called free Bitcoin sites have been left off the list due to making users jump through too many hoops or being interested in trying to scam or take advantage of visitors to their site.

This list is not about anybody, the newbies or the site owners, making much money... I have repeated many times what this list is about:

A reply I made in another thread about the complaint that free bitcoin sites, like the ones listed here, are not worth it... what good are they if one only gets very very small amounts that is not worth the time... etc.

---

Well no one, I hope, is suggesting that this is a viable source of income which
will allow one to give up their regular job.    Cheesy
( then again, who knows what 0.0053 BTC [the amount complained about] might be worth several years from now. )

When I first found out about Bitcoin I wanted to try it out as soon as possible; I am sure many other newbies are the same.

Signing up to some exchange or using some of the other methods for buying bitcoins can be a hassle, and can have fees higher
than someone just wanting to try things out would like.

So using these few free bitcoins sites can be a good way of trying things out... it is exciting to get that first payment to ones
wallet... and if other newbies are like me they will be just as excited to gather enough together to send them off to a friend
or a worthy charity or the like, in order to try sending as well as receiving.

And getting new users excited about Bitcoin and getting them using it right away can only be good for Bitcoin as a whole.

If you are reading this and feel the same that this list is important to the Bitcoin community please let the forum moderators know.

Thanks.

I still can't get over this move...

This thread was created for newbies. To allow them to offer feedback about these free bitcoin sites; many of the owners of these free bitcoin sites follow this thread.

And for newbies to participate in the maintenance of this list; This list which was mainly created for them.

How can newbies even join the free newbie lotto when they aren't even allowed to post here???
