Now that these private keys are compromised, I sure hope nobody decides to import them, biggest mistake ever.

I haven't read up on the address generation protocol, but here's a question... Would it be possible to have a dedicated machine for generating addresses, and is it possible to be lucky and generate an existing address with actual balance?

OR
just use vanitygen, and make addresses with the custom at the beginning so it is readable.
Plus its a trusted program, not some new thing.

We've had this discussion thousands of times on the forum. Nothing prevents it, it would just take you billions of years, with all the computers on EARTH bruteforcing. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=892752.msg9909378#msg9909378

I'm just talking about generating random addresses as fast as possible. But I believe the answer would be the same... And here's a nice infographic I found on your link https://i.imgur.com/IL6PV5E.jpg

Given the amount ofpossible addresses that you can have to hold BTC burning up 50k is a small amount and having 5 public address not too bad lol they will be on the list off address like qwerty12345 passphrase lol

Yes you can have a dedicated machine for generating addresses. But don't expect get one already generated by someone else in your lifetime
