Not really... seeing as your one work item would be running dead slow. GPUs are not the equivalent of thousands of CPUs, they're the equivalent of thousands of really, really slow, stupid CPUs.

So one 16GB DDR5 GPU would be slower than one 16GB DDR4 CPU?  I thought XPB's PoW is bandwidth-sensitive.   Undecided

It's not at all, actually. If you could run thousands of work-items, it would be. But it pseudorandomly looks up data in the scratchpad, so it only pulls 8 bytes at a time, really. Bandwidth is really important for long, sequential reads/writes.

OK, then latency dominates?

The new linux miner binary is up here.  I have changed the ports so old miners don't clog up the pool resources.  To run the new miner:

./minerd -o stratum+tcp://69.60.113.21:3350 -u YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS -p x
Are you using the new Port and Miner z38630610?

Hi,

anyone had success to transfer coins to poloniex?

I have tried from qt-wallet 20 hours ago (047a623f52a18987c8c0b95dfbed3524530fb4cf094e0090928235adc6c44fa7) and from simplewallet 2 hours ago (124ed0f957f6fb896e7efdc35b9fc92312cc0817a7a23983b6290e3c79456892) - but nothing is showing up at  Poloniex...

best...
dhj.
Has anybody actually succeeded in using Poloniex to buy/sell XPBs?  A lot of people have issues.  I will take the link off of the first post until people confirm that it works.  If it works for some and not others, then why?

You were using the old miner before.  The correct miner is about 0.05 H/s.  It is a linux binary, not mingw/msys.

I have - simpleminer must be used to xfer coins.
What is the difference?  The Qt Wallet uses the same code as the simplewallet.  Did they accept it as-is or you had to give them the txid?
