i will start selling after price touch ~20k sath
diff will go double within two days.

xpb makes pools frustrated. (too much cpu load)
Better we mine solo. good luck!

sweet. So the coin might be pool proof (at least for now), because of the ridonculous system load?

Well, if a pool is running on a server capable of doing 0.1 H/s, and each client does 0.05H/s and is submitting at a difficulty of 15, the server could support 30 clients. So large-scale pools with hundreds of users would require quite an extensive server setup, or impractically-high difficulty where clients would be submitting hashes every 5-10 minutes.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Awesome, thanks for the rundown. This coin just went up in my book.

Whats the word on the official Dev team? Is it anyone beyond XPB? On git it looks pretty lonely.

and re: qt wallet - just run the command line.

http://xpb.noteminer.com. is this pool working properly?

That pool is 38 blocks behind right now.

Daemon has been reset and re-synced. The pool software is still a bit buggy with XPB and requires a fair amount of babysitting. Also, to echo prior comments, system requirements are high - a large inbound server load at one time seems to knock out the daemon.

I'm keeping an eye on it though. All mature blocks have been paid.

it'll be reeeaaallly slow. I have 16 gigs ram, so i can run 1 thread, and it reports 0.02 hash/ sec, and I haven't earned a single share...

wolf sez it'll use virtual memory, but the performance will be really bad.

I believe you could set up your miner to run with a pagefile, but it will be ungodly slow.

Anybody on noteminer.com -- I'm upgrading the server and accidentally lost the redis (database) data. The blocks were all paid out, but the pool will be reset to 0 blocks found when it restarts.

Apologies for the downtime. Should be up and running in ~10 minutes.
