and want to make sure this doesn't happen to me.

You set the email address to something "random" and someone
just guessed it?  Or what?  How was it hacked?

I have figured it out
Last escrow, you switched email privacy to Public to show the account was in escrow
I changed the email to random characters, someone on this forum saw it and tried to recover the account by registering the email and recovering the password
But how did you recover it??? Did you contact staff?? you said it yourself
This is both of our fault, you for not changing the email and me for not reverting email privacy back to
private
You still should have changed the email as that is standard procedure when doing an escrow service.
I still personally do not believe I am completely responsible for this. I am still a legitimate member and will pay the loan back when it is due. I don't see why I have to incur the .08 interest in less than 12 hours of getting the loan

This is dumb...there is no need to make the address public to show its under escrow control...and you should always change it to a real email address you control just to be safe anyway.

It was a random letters so I didn't change it , but I don't know how & why the "troll" recovered the password with the email.

Yes as I wrote you in your personal email address , I've always changed the email, forum question &  password but this time I "forgot" or maybe don't think it was necessary; now I've contacted Vod and grue  I think he can remove the negative feedback  (because there isn't a reason to not do it) and I also have contacted badbear and he replied :

Well, what I do know.

IPs during the incident, after the loan, were different (Tor).
moreia_alt's IPs do match moreia's.
Whoever is logged into moreia's account currently is also using Tor (odd).

I'll leave the speculating for others.

Well stuff happens snow..not that big of a deal. This will all fade away soon enough..you do have to admit someone pulled off an epic trolling!
