I originally posted on other forum, so here is the link about this project

here is solid translation of complete post. My boxes  Wink

Since I am limited with space (office) that I rented (13 m2), I had to pack all the equipment in the tunnels, by which I ensure stable operation of all equipment. Since I was hiding in the price (60e) is included and electricity use, I decided to MSI 6770 graphics.

How do I make it better circulars air (ventilation), I designed a structure to which I have set the motherboard and 4 graphics cards. With the construction of the two power supplies (mainly used one power supply, but again let there be a option for second PSU). Here are some pictures of construction:

Here are the pictures of constructions posted in the tunnel

https://i.imgur.com/z5BHr.jpg

At the entrance of the tunnel I put 4 fans that will insufflate cold air from the office and also at the exit of the tunnel I put 4 more fans that will erupt through the drain pipe out warm air from the tunnel. I used a brand SUNON fans at 220v (used for server cabinets and endure temperatures from -10 to + 60C).

Since the office has a total of two windows that can open a window to a place I have built a wooden panel (MDF), which I drilled holes for the exhaust of hot air. Since I have a total of four tunnels, I drilled 16 holes on 2 plates. 17th hole is the exhaust hot air from mobile air conditioners.

Air is set to 19c, but never really percentages that temperature  Grin

https://i.imgur.com/mM5dR.jpg

The room temperature is between 25 and 30c, depending on external influences. The temperature in the tunnel is 33 to 40 c. I carried out a temperature monitoring device with the lowest cost, how to have insight into what happens in a closed box.

https://i.imgur.com/t14fa.jpg

Power supply for all the equipment I brought over a mini cubicle, where in addition to fuses, timers and set the switches, that when a power failure, or return the current system, have fallen one by one machine, to avoid popping the fuse. In the cupboard I put a switch, that this network cables reminiscent of the Bird's Nest  Cheesy but also done an excellent job   Grin

https://i.imgur.com/8B9Sr.jpg

At the door of the closet have placed 3 amp, so I had the exact extent to which access may be charged once the three phases which are linked

https://i.imgur.com/WSGYE.jpg

All cables (power and network) are packed in the channels on the side of the tunnel, and brought the ignition switch to the tunnel ventilation system for each individual  Smiley

https://i.imgur.com/l8YCY.jpg

On one side of the tunnel were left with the handle hinges to the side of the tunnel could be opened. Here's how it looks when everything is finally closed.

https://i.imgur.com/ApEtZ.jpg

Since the small office area, and the fans at the entrance of a large quantity of air creep, I had to improvise a little extra air flow in the office: lol:
Hopefully this comes to ceilings, and the space above the office I have a steady flow of air beneath the concrete slabs facility

https://i.imgur.com/qvhn7.jpg

Each structure consists of the following components:

Motherboard: Gigabyte H61M-D2-B3 (1x 16xPCIe + 3x 1xPCIe)
Processor: Intel Celeron G460/G530
Memory: Mushkin DDR3 2GB
Flash: Kingston/Transcend 4GB
Adapters: PCI-e extenders [4 pcs]
Graphics: Ati Radeon MSI HD6770 1GB GDDR5 128bit [4 pcs]
PSU: ThermalTake 675W Thougpower XT

In each tunnel was set at 5 structure (20 graphics cards). It is now in operation about 16 GHS. Temperature on graphics are from 50c to 70c.
All graphics are in the set core: 920mhz,  mem: 300mhz and set down a voltage on 1.05v (temperature few degrees down)
All machines are under BAMT operating system, where almost all work perfectly Smiley

Awesome setup. I always like custom power distribution, it's the extra mile that most people don't bother with.

At first i was like "OMG WTF", considering 13 m2 office space, but it turned out to be just brilliant! 200 Mhs is about right for that card, i have 2 of those running at 935/300/stock voltage with the output of 218 Mhs (SDK version 2.4), temps varying from 73c (opened rake) to 85c (otherwise).
Just a wild guess: 10 kWh?

I got 205 to 212 mhs per graphics..

about 430W per construction (4x6770). Electricity bill is included in the rental office (60e = around 76$ monthly) Wink

That's insane (in a good way), although kind of have to question whether the investment will pay itself off by the time ASIC/block reward drop hits.

Did you mention the amount of power you were going to be using when you rented the place? Even if the power was free I doubt you can break even. It's pretty late in the game for building new rigs. Nice ventilation though.

He never mentioned how long this has been running like that. He could have built it 6 months ago for all we know!

i would build another box (in front of the fans) and put the air conditioner in it, so that the fans fetch the air only from the air conditioner-box.... should give you better temps and you dont have to change much. but never the less very good work!!!

I have done it, and everything I get is 2-3c temp. down.. Nothing special..

I have 2 months running it as well, everything works fine.. with little luck, will payoff at the end of year  Cool

ASIC is very smelly story.. we shell see in few months.. I have contacted them, and something specious is in that story.. "You pay us for product, and you may wait for 2-3 months.. maybe few years"
I do not want nobody to blame but something is wrong in that story..

I signed the contract on renting for a year. Did not ask how I spend electricity, because they consume large quantities, so they were not significantly  Grin
