Governments over human history have caused more crime than criminals, caused destruction economically and politically through wars and inflation and have only taken away our freedom. I almost was about to give up in finding a place in this world where I could find the freedom until I found bitcoin. A capitalists dream morally and economically.

Certain aspects of the BitCoin community are beautiful. As a newbie I have been completely overwhelmed taking it all in. It really empowers the common man to transfer wealth anywhere in the world instantly with no oversight. On the other hand, this can lead to a lot of dubious activity. I have been skeptical about certain parts of the BitCoin lending/stock trading. Overall, I think that a lot of good can come from the growth of this currency and the strong community behind it.

The problem is education. People need to educate themselves.

Government's succeed with their reign through naivety.

No one can educate themselves except themselves. I just think people have been "trained" to just accept what the teachers/majority/leaders (religious or political) think. People are much more likely to accept a common belief because that is the safe bet. In doing this, people never learn how to find anything out for themselves and can only exist intellectually in a group setting where they can accept others beliefs and never have to make any of their own.
