Nah, Ross only fucked himself.
He got caught, therefore...
People aren't going to view Bitcoins and dark markets as beyond the reach of the long arm of the law, which is a good thing.
Authorities won't be clamoring for more regulations. The system works.

Authorities always clamor for more regulations, because victimless liberty of any kind, to any degree, is unacceptable to them.

True, but my point is Ross did us more of a favor by getting caught than by continuing to run Silk Road...as yes I realize there are other drug markets, but I feel a big bust sends a message.

The message it appears to send (although if the defense lawyers attempt to argue this in court, they will be held in contempt) is "we the government are above the law and will use parallel construction and any unconstitutional, non-rebuttable means necessary to secure a conviction and civil asset forfeiture despite reasonable doubt".

+Mutherfucking one!!! The US Justice System is a fucking joke, and it's especially obvious in the case where they clearly broke their own bullshit laws to find Ross in the first place, and basically just rub it in by giving insane accounts to how they even did it! It's a fucking joke at best!

Associating Ross with any of those others is bullshit. He never robbed anyone, no one ever forced anyone to buy from a sr vendor, politicians just need someone to blame about drug usage since they can't fix real fucking problems. Very depressing to hear the owner of this forum is providing evidence against him (if true.)

Ross is not even at first case against him and silly American pricks already sold his coins. that's just shows and proves he is fucked big time. what if found not guilty? NSA will mine his coins back?
and to be clear....anyone who is approached by scumbags HAVE choice.
even if theymos going against Ross, don't assume he have no choice. He choose to go against him so his name is clear because probably gov monkeys send him clear message what will happen if.....

How awesome would it be if Ross was acquitted and Bitcoin was at $2,000/coin?
Watching those assholes repay 50,000 BTC for 6X what they sold them for would be fucking beautiful.
...but this will never happen. They might as well weld his cell door closed.
Never ever now. Great, more bad news for the press to focus on.
