How does the donation thing work? I've donated a couple times and the available to download fluctuates. It went for about 7 GB available one day, and I was going to download a 6 GB zip file. Then an hour later it only had 3 GB available. So I donated more to get that back up and today it's 270 MB. What gives?

The donation/payment system hasn't been automated yet I had just been setting it to a 10GB limit every few days whether the was a donation or not.

I just set it to 100GB so you should have plenty to download your 7GB file.

As the poll is deciding I'll likely implement per user quotas and accounts soon

This service looks great for people like me who can't download movies through torrents legally. And payment by bitcoin is even better :

Be sure you have the right to download anything you may pass through https://UnTorrent.Me such as the Public Domain Night of the Living Dead https://archive.org/download/night_of_the_living_dead/night_of_the_living_dead_archive.torrent

I tried downloading a torrent a day ago.

The file a I downloaded came with no extention.

So I couldn't open it.

Just add .zip and it's fine.

Downloads should now be named based upon the original torrent name and feature .zip at the end rather than based upon their hash

Just so you know, Justseed.it takes bitcoin and costs $1 for 200 GB (total data transfer, i.e 66.67 GB downloaded). Also where are your servers located?

Is it 1$ per download, or combined downloads for 200GB for 1$ ?

I finally got the chance to implement payments...

Each user is assigned a secret that gets appended to their url and an associated address and balance. So long as you don't tell anyone your secret your account should be safe. I figured that was better than a username/password scheme, let me know if you guys disagree.

If you didn't bookmark your secret url it is saved in a cookie on your browser for 1 year, unless you turn cookies off or clear them it should reapply itself next time you visit. I recommend making sure you save your secret url though to be safe.

Don't bother brute-forcing secrets to try and access someone else's account there are 5237424972633826992021103514924158643546627273668903663173266188953814074247479 2878132321477214466514414186946040961136147476104734166288853256441430016 possible secrets provided I did my math correctly.

Pricing is 0.0005 BTC per GB with 1 confirmation required every account begins with a balance of 500 MB to get started.

Edit: Fixed price

$1.25 per GB? really? wow, that's pricey. Too expensive for me, in fact.

Is there a way to see how much funds are left?

It's located in the purple text.

First line: How much data you have available to download.
Second line: Your address to purchase more data.
Third line (red): I was putting a few status updates there.

On a whole the page CSS and layout needs a revamp but unfortunately time is not an easily obtained commodity.
